As defined by the IAU, a planet is a celestial body orbiting a star or stellar remnant that is massive enough to be rounded by its own gravity, not massive enough to cause thermonuclear fusion in its core, and has cleared its neighboring region of planetesimals.
Also, these are places where characters in #ss2 may come or visit from.
