A planet in a splinter dimension created by Clan Douglas as a home away from home, a vacation home of sorts. The planet's dimension is warded in such a way that only a member of Clan Douglas or certain select individuals can enter. The wards on the dimension are designed to recognize certain auras and DNA codes, or the presence of an elemental dimension key, independent materia orb in a person's possession. The elemental dimension key materia is a specifically custom made orb based on the auras and DNA of several members of Clan Douglas, which was crafted by Carrick Aron Douglas and Merril Muirios Douglas. It allows access and transport to the planet, as well as acting as an id to keep the wards from bouncing a person back to where they came from just prior to arriving on the planet.
People with elemental dimension key materia include: Potamos, Scarlet, Suu, Hikari, Shiori, and Kitalia.
Rhombus-cho, Bellum-ku, New Magitopia
As of May 20th, 2008, the splinter dimension, which had been liberated by Shinji Ikari, has been given to Reiko. Upon discovering the faulty locks, she quickly replaced it with a new, gem-based lock-and-key system. The master key, an onyx key with a black diamond core, resides with Reiko, which allows her to change the degree of security.
Natural Environment
The planet within the dimension is about the size of Earth, and boasts similar climates. The continental formations are vastly different, and each section of the planet holds something new to experience. Jungles, deserts, plains, mountain ranges and swamps are among the many environments found on New Magitopia.
