Born in 1915, Yumiko was orphaned during the 1923 Great Kanto Earthquake, while Raihosha was posted to Japan in the Naval Attache's office. He adopted her, along with 4 other children, and she now considers these children her siblings. She discovered her talents as a martial artist early. Since then, she has only developed her skills, having learned dozens of forms of martial arts (some not even extant in this universe). She apparently took typing classes in high school and can type 200 wpm on a manual typewriter.
Like several of her siblings, she has undergone Bionetic Enhancement, which has greatly contributed to her long life span and allows her superhuman abilities. She has also made a study of weapons technology and tactics. She currently operates as Raihosha's head of security. As of January 29, 2011, she is dating Idris. She's also known to have a peculiar, flirty sense of humor that often embarrasses her father.
She resides on Aescapulus and helps MGT care for his siblings.
In September 2012, Yumiko discovered she had a son, with no other than Caroline Carr, her father's then-girlfriend, from the 400 baby project. Although taken aback at the turn of events, she embraced him wholeheartedly and has tried to be a good mother to him since.
