Faye Kizen is the capstone child of Mango-chan's 400 Babies project. After the project's success Mango randomly selected two of her 'progeny' to show to to her mentor Yaijinden. Yaijinden ended up taken by the child's relative innocence, and decided with Celeste to raise the infant as their own daughter. She was named Faye because she came to them like a faerie gift, and was given her maternal gene-donor's adopted family name Kizen. The only overt sign of her paternal gene-donor is in her bright green hair. Unlike the vast majority of the 400, she does not bear a birthmark scan code.
Like most children her age, Faye's current preoccupations are honing the basics of being human (ie. playing as much as she can!), including such tasks as learning the fine points of addition and subtraction, running and/or spinning in circles as quickly as she can, coping with the traumas of being an independent human being, trying to snooker what she wants from Mama and Momma, and getting all the cleverer by the day. Faye shares a own room with her little sister Riley in the Hotel for when Mama, Mommy, and Momma decide to spend time away from home. She has been rated by civilian doctors and the Hotel's medical clinic as 'in fine shape for a girl her age'.
Faye is a highly-extroverted and active child, eager to get out into the woods and play with whoever or whatever she can work with. She is home-schooled by all three of her parents, though she is familiar on a school-playground level with most of her age peers where she lives, and main-streams into a local children's football team for frequent practices. She's started hinting to her parents that she wants to start attending public school, but they've demurred on this for now.
Trivia
- After participating in the Successor Idol challenge, Faye gained possession of a suit of powered battle armor dubbed the "Iron Baby" or "Iron Toddler" suit. Within its confines, she is an unnervingly-capable combatant! Her parents subcontracted its refitting to Dr. Tomoe as Faye grew up, and it is now on the "Iron Girl" version.
- Faye's favorite movie is Frozen, and Faye has decided that elder sister Amber is Elsa to her Anya.
- Faye has largely adapted to having a little sibling in Riley, and usually is keen to drag the other kiddo out to play with her when she needs a second pair of hands to play with. (Riley is not always cooperative with going outside, but that only rarely stops Faye.)
