Christopher Holmes is a rather unassuming 15 year old student from Darmstadt, Germany. However, as the son of Hunters, he was raised in a secret life of finding, tracking, and hunting members of the Lupa species. He believes that they are inhuman monsters secretly taking over the world, and should be stopped at all costs. The family (including Chris) has killed 23 Lupa, several of which were very young children or babies.

Chris has few friends at school, mostly members of the school’s marksman’s club, of which he was a member. Otherwise, he didn’t participate in many after school activities. The family’s vacations mostly consisted of Hunting missions, not all of which ended successfully.

He is skilled with various types of weapons and fighting styles, tracking, and hiding. Originally living in France with his mother before moving to Germany, he speaks three languages: French, German, and English. While he is intelligent, his grades at school were average, as his parents considered his training and abilities as a Hunter much more important. He has traveled to many parts of the world, but done very little site seeing.

Chris' Captivity

In June of 2012, Chris came to Kai's attention on a train to Germany, and she later discovered that he and his family were Hunters. When she took this information to Miara, a meeting of the Tokyo Lupa was quickly organized to deal with the family rather than handing it over to TheHunterKiller, who would surely kill the boy without a second thought. Under Miara's leadership, they spent a week gathering information, and planned for a confrontation with the family.

Eiry delivered their letter of challenge to Chris in Darmstadt, and the family followed them to Thuringer forest, where Miara asked them to stop Hunting. Their refusal resulted in a tense fight (Edar was Chris' only opponent), which the family lost. Carmilla and Kristoff again refused to give up their murderous activities, choosing martyrdom over reform, and they were given Lupa rites in order to avoid complications with the law (lack of evidence).

Miara resolved to give Chris more time, and took him to The Hotel, where he was kept in the security ward of the clinic since the night of July 16. He considered Miara his kidnapper, and looked for any chance to escape, not realizing how dangerous it would be for him. He was released sometime in late August or September (I don't exactly remember when) when he fulfilled Miara's requirements, and since then has not been seen or heard of in the Hotel.
