About

HRM Em'dar I. of Murus, or as he is known on Earth, Robert G. Anderson, MBE, is the Protagonist of Prince from the Stars. He was born during the days of Tradon, in the Nezumi year 9876, or according to our calendar, on April 13, 2000 as the Crown Prince and older (by a few minutes) of twin sons on the eponymous planet.

History

Only a few months later a devastating Attack on the Palace by the then-hostile Zarkon Empire took the lives of - among several others - the Royal Couple and made him an orphan. As an additional obstacle on the way to the former's Takeover, he had to be brought into safety. The choice fell on the secretly already closely allied Earth where he was later adopted and raised 'incognito' by an American family of scientists. Then, around the time of his 16th birthday, he was almost killed in a large fire which, in the Aftermath, led to Revealing the truth about his Origins to him. He was taken into custody and witness protection by benelovent Explorers who got him a new, temporary identity to start over from quasi-scratch. He was trained by a personal mentor with old connections to the Royals to help him on his first steps towards being a Super Hero and future successor to the throne.
Somewhere between May and June of that year, he got aquainted with a young Lady who should later become the Love of his life: Bonnie McAllister. After a shaky start, the latter unexpectedly coerced him into helping her 'fake' an engagement long enough until she'd be able to legally make her own decisions.
But only short thereafter another tragic Arson (apparently) took his family away again which made him finally snap for a brief time after years of Bullying and Abuse by his classmates; in a rush of wrath he erroneously (and assumingly) slaughtered his Main Nemesis from school, forcing him to go into exile once more, this time in the opposite direction. There, everybody tried their best to introduce and get him used to Life at the court and the Nezumi Culture as a hole. It was also there that he'd be presented with a brash, foulmouthed, violent female bodyguard with her own unique, patented ways of driving him nuts on a daily basis. During the Summer Vacances, Bonnie joined the party as a guest at the Royal Palace.
One fateful day, it was discovered and revealed that his younger twin brother had also survived the Palace Raid sixteen years ago; yet, he, other than his big brother, grew up into an evil entity. It was like the two faces of the Janus. Then, Robbie disappeared for a short while. When he came back, it looked like he had undergone a Heelturn himself, but actually he just was under outside-influence by his brother. Eventually, he could be freed, and the bad brother fled.
Later that year, one Morning a mysterious young Nezumi girl approached the three Heroes. She claimed she was the daughter of Rob & his bodyguard Sarqui and that she came from a somewhat-dystopian, rather bleak alternate Future in which Bonnie had been killed during her own Rescue Attempt. The girl's Mission: Change History enough that the former survives, knowing very well that this would (presumably) negate her own existence in the end. After a successful Meddling with the Timeline, it appeared like she was going to dissolve into 'Unbirth', but things only went more complicated from there: She had left her Time Travel Device behind which for unknown reasons still existed. A burglar's failed attempt to steal it resulted in it shattering into multiple pieces, so Robbie and an assorted Team of Experts were forced to use an experimental, secret Time Travel ship to search for and recollect the shards 'Shikon-no-Tama' style to repair the Damage at the de-stabilizing spacetime in a race against time. When they finally got (virtually) all pieces together again, they forgot most of that Adventure, at least for quite a while.
It looked like they all could take a break after this exhausting Episode, but then, Robbie, Bonnie and Sarqui who at this time all resided at Bonnie's luxurious New York Appartment for a change, got involved in a dimension-crossing Adventure when criminal Aliens penetrated multiple Quantum Universes, proving along the way that there were much more than only one, for their personal greed. They had to team up with the Sailor Guardians and many other Heroes to stop them. That was the start to a continuing series of shared Missions between the two factions. After this, it really turned dark and gritty when a global Pseudo-Invasion almost ended the world as we know it. It was then that the real Powers-that-be behind virtually everything the Heroes had to go through basically their entire lives got finally revealed. It also turned out that the Anderson Family had been alive all along, having being illegally held captive in an Underground prison at Area 51, alongside Bonnie's missing Father. Among the villains, first row, were none other than Kan'dar and, most surprisingly, the believed-dead Bully from Rob's School days. Eventually, the former turned for the better and sacrified himself for his big brother. Sarqui also got killed in Action, but could be revived only hours later, using a secret technique passed on to Robbie by his brother. He was also able to defunct the Enemy Fleet, thus de-facto saving the entire world and granting it a brief time of Peace.
During the Victory Celebration, he took Bonnie aside for a Moment to properly propose to her... She instantly accepted, so over the course of Summer, the two got officially married in a civil ceremony, at which the Majority of the Sailor Guardians were present as special guests and Best People. A separate ceremony was held on Murus which also saw the 'de-facto' Inthronization of the two as the new royal couple and formal rulers.
But alas, it seemed like it shouldn't last long; One day, Bonnie suddenly got kidnapped by a new faction of religious fanatics with connections to the Darkness. Unfortunately, nobody on Earth wanted to grant the Heroes Access to any means of Spacefaring as they believed it would currenttly be better to stay neutral and out of this due to their weakened state. Robbie was understandably frustrated and disappointed, so he took it on himself and, with only a handful of loyal friends and accomplices, stole the Timerider ship 'Nautilus' which was under the custody of the Earth Forces. But the situation got so dangerous and desperate, that they eventually, shortly after Bonnie's rescue, had to abandon and evacuate the ship. Robbie stayed on board alone in a last attempt to land it safely. As a downside the planet's surface below them was overgrown with the raw crystaline form of a mineral that neutralized and absorbed his powers, rendering him temporarily mortal. So when the ship crashed, he presumably blew up along with it. In the aftermath of this tragedy, a short-lived interstellar war broke out, with the frontlines drawn between Religion and Reason.

After they had been stranded on a backwater planet for several weeks, his friends suddenly got news of that a new, identical-looking body had been created - quasi from scratch - with whatever was left of Robbie's first one and illegally acquired specimens from his brother and accelerated growth to match his then-current age. But the body, possessing no memories from his previous life, escaped from the facility and got temporarily adopted by a native tribe who saw him as the embodiment of an old prophecy. Closely followed by the villains who wanted to use the 'clone' for their own evil purposes, the good guys managed to explain the situation, and in the aftermath they all worked together to defeat and drive away the fanatics. Subsequently, Robbie's ghost which had been around all the time then re-fused with the body only hours before an official deadline would've expired after which the new body would've been regarded as having collected enough own memories to be legally seen as a separate entity/new person.

In 2019, it was announced that Bonnie was pregnant with their first child. At the same time, however, multiple attempts at both his life and that of their friend Ami Mizuno who was finally visiting them at home for the first time started to alarm everybody. Turned out that the culprit was an old archrival who viewd their dimension-hopping as a direct thread to his homeworld. This led the young planetary Alliance to sentencing temporary sanctions against the planet Milerva although Meioh Setsuna (Sailor Pluto) stated that she somehow could understand his argument as 'fiddling around with the very fabrics of spacetime leaves just too many questions'. She even went as far as prohibiting Sailor Mercury any more visits until further notice. The latter thus threatened to end their friendship.

After a short while, though, Pluto allowed them to travel again - under certain conditions, of course: Ami & Rob would use the opportunity to officially catalogize and monitor the alternate worlds for both comfort and safety. This period saw the aquaintances with the strangest among their alternate selves including a Biker Gang Ami, a pseudo-medieval Dark Mage Ami and Bounty Hunter Rob.

On one fateful day during the same year, the two were lured into a mischievous trap. During an event, they suddenly got drugged and abducted by an unknown faction. When they awoke, they found themselves trapped inside a secret laboratory. The Alien scientists who ran the place wanted to use their DNAs to create a clone army for doubtful purposes, whether they liked it or not. Eventually, they managed to escape with their - literal - barenaked lives. Upon revisiting the crime scene, they were faced with the product of the bad guys' work as the lab was about to self-destruct. The paradox natures of their respective powers had proven too much to handle, so the only prototype that ever had been made, a baby girl that was half Human, half Nezumi, was entrusted (or better, 'dumped') onto them. The two had no choice but to accept their shared, weird kind of parentage.

Current History

In early 2025, Robbie got mysteriously drawn to a special kind of dimension called The Hotel when Ami got into trouble during an attempted robbery (no pun intended) at a ramen shop. After they had defeated the gangsters, Ami, owed to a brief mental meltdown, finally came up with the courage of desperation to confess her love for him. Her way to repay him for his help was to co-organize a surprise party for his 25th Birthday.

Miscellaneous Trivia

  • Nezumis have green, copper-based blood and a naturally long lifespan that, in Robbie's case, owing to the nature of his powers, is additionally expanded indefinitely.
  • Not unlike the Vulcans in Star Trek, they go through a phase of sexual arousal and mental imbalance every couple of years, which, if not solved by actual intercourse, would very likely lead to death by psychophysical overload and neuronal stress.
  • Nezumis do not possess body hair, being naturally smooth from the neck down.
  • Robbie was - reportedly - the first of his kind to be able to surpass the effect which Nonamium usually would have on his powers.
  • It is often stated that he rarely smells bad.
  • His family crest (and by extension the current planetary symbol of Murus) are an x-crossed sword & feather, symbolizing the unification or merger of contrary positions.
  • His golden-yellow eyes are the rarest colour for a Nezumi although virtually every combination of eye & hair colours imaginable can occur; but the former usually indicates the presence of the Tal'Aonar potential which makes him stand out even among his own kind.
  • He possesses an ultra-rare bloodtype (even for a Nezumi). This one usually also indicates/determinates a Tal'Aonar potentate.
  • He can replenish his energy by either consuming actual food or absorbing small amounts of compatible electric sources. That said, continuous use of that electricity can turn his skin temporarily magnetic.
  • All of his descendants so far - real or hypothetical - have heterochromia, such as to leave no doubt about the parentages.
  • He possesses a specially-hardened Katana which originally belonged to one of the villains; After the latter had clumsily eliminated himself, he adapted the sword and ever since, due to its handy and convenient cuts-about-everything nature, he occasionally puts it to good use. He even (re-)christened the sword, giving it its current name:
  • Despite all his talents and abilities, he couldn't swim properly until Ami taught him how to.
  • If one were to nitpick, you could say that, from late 2018 onward, he may be considered 'Em'dar 2.0' as his rebuilt body was made with bits of both himself and his twin brother.
