USS Argo
The USS Argo (NCC-2301) is a starship in service in the late 23rd century in certain timelines of the 1337 multiverse. It is a part of the Starfleet of the United Federation of Planets.
History
USS Argo is the second starship in the Ulysses class of ships for Starfleet. While the Excelsior class had been designed to replace the aging Constitution class, there was still interest in a smaller ship for exploration missions. Alongside the Argo and the Ulssyes, four other ships were built in this class at first: the Proteus (NCC-2302), the Thetis (NCC-2303), the Atlantis (NCC-2304) and the Ceto (NCC-2305).
Interested in testing it out in the hands of capable commander, the Argo was assigned by Starfleet to the newly promoted Captain Matsumi Kaze (formally Sailor Quinox, at the time semi-retired and hiding her true identity from society at large).
