The Crew
Boss is in command of the enormous 'Charon' class Hulk, dubbed Sternenförmig. Though he oversees the ship's navigation and defenses, commanding a maintenance, refueling and research vessel is a much different job than that of Rali or Haak, who are at the helm of the battleships in the same fleet. The Hulk's own systems are almost entirely automated thanks to some of the most cutting edge AI systems from around the cosmos, meaning its decks and refinery bays are usually empty of crew. In fact, across the fleet the only regular faces aboard are Boss, Zaik and Ghost.
The Ship
Sternenförmig is a 'Charon' Class Hulk, essentially a cross between a freighter and a refining barge. Any extensive research or testing that Haak or any of his companions want performed happen here. The ship itself is by some way the largest in the fleet, accomodating for fuel storage and refining the raw materials needed for the upkeep and development of the fleet's equipment. Equipped with standard-issue combat drones for self defence, and extensive mining laser arrays, the hulk has kept the fleet self-sufficient long enough when civilisation seemed a distant dream.
The History
Originally built and commissioned as part of a mega-corporation's mining fleet, the Sternenförmig entered Haak's fleet after the events that took place during what is now known as The Fear and the Disquiet. The period marked the violent end to the corruption in the corporation, known as Lai Dai. This period also saw Boss join Haak.
