History
Born Fujiko Oshiro, Tenri's parents were both highly visible in the pop culture of Japan. Her mother, Momoko Oshiro was a fashion model, who routinely toured around the world, while her father Daiki Oshiro, under the pen-name of DaiKai, was a noted Manga-Ka. Growing up, the young Tenri found herself often pushed into the limelight thanks to her parents, something which left the young girl highly uncomfortable. She rebelled at a young age, focusing herself to stay as humble as possible in defiance of her parent's lifestyle. At the age of 10, Tenri ran away from home in the middle of the night, having finally had enough of her family. After spending the night on the streets, Tenri was noticed by a local martial artist, who took her in. The man, Nobuyuki Kiyo, allowed her to stay at the dojo, in return for learning martial arts there, as well as going to the local schools. It would be at this time that she would take the name Tenri Kiyo, as well as begin to wear her hair in her more familer pompadour style, as a way to honor the man who took her in.
