Nana was artificially created through massive power and a fragmented Starseed on the asteroid Europa by Ethereal Sailor Europa, after she had endured centuries of suffering, anguish, and loneliness.
She was created as a sort of substitute daughter for Euri, seeing as her real daughter Hachi Hakinochi had distanced herself and loathed her for years.
Nana was taught history and told stories by her mentor. Rarely does she get the oportunity to practice her fighting skills, though.
When her mentor goes out on adventures deemed too dangerous or simply because she wasn't invited to go with her, Nana is babysat by her uncle, the omnipotent Ellimist, who rivals Nana's mentor in power.
The Ellimist tells even more stories of his and Nana's mentor's lives. Nana LOVES listening to stories, since there's not much else she gets to do while waiting for her mentor to return.
Unlike her mentor, who hates time travel with a passion, Nana sometimes travels to the Suburban Senshi past to see if she can learn which of her mentor's stories are true. (Fun Fact: all of them are, though Nana would be stunned if she knew.)
