History
Early Life
Rei Hino was born on April 17th, 200X. Her father, Takeshi Hino, was an important politician, while her mother, Risa, had apparent psychic abilities. While Rei was still a young child, her mother grew deathly ill and though she was given the best possible treatment, she would pass away. The fact that her father was not there for her mother during this time caused Rei to hate her father, as well as color her perception of men in the future. Disturbed by his daughter's growing psychic abilities, Takeshi would have her live with her grandfather at his shrine, only meeting with her once in awhile. On her first day at the shrine, Rei would befriend a pair of crows who she would claim were named Phobos and Deimos.
Rei would attend T*A Academy, a catholic school specifically catered to students from upper class families.
Guardian of Fire
Strange events would soon occur at the shrine, when a series of disappearances would happen thanks to an apparently cursed bus on a road nearby. Eventually, rumors would begin to swirl, some suggesting that Rei herself was responsible for what was happening due to her psychic abilities. It would be during this time that Rei would meet Usagi Tsukino, someone who she would feel strangely drawn to.
