First Appearance

A Japanese naval ensign chosen to head the Tokyo Imperial Floral Assault Squad when he proved himself capable during a test of a Koubu prototype at sea.

A competent commander possesing great strength, compassion and charisma, he successfully led both the Japanese and Paris Assault groups to victory many times.

Eventually, he fell in love with and married Sakura Shinguuji, but not before having deep romantic encounters with Sumire Kanzaki, Lobelia Carlini, Glycine Bleumer, and Grand Mere.

Dying of natural causes in the 1960s, he was revived when the Empire of Ghosts used his corpse and spirit to attack Tokyo. The combined efforts of Sakura, Erica Fontaine and Gemini Sunrise were able to resurrect, and renew his body.

Remarrying Sakura in a private ceremony, he has resumed his life, getting used to a world moved on 50 years from the last time he saw it.

Oogami is filled with Time Lord regeneration energy, which may have some effect on his physiognomy. He was able to get a full knowledge upgrade thanks to a headbutt from Doctor Xadium, which would not have worked on a normal human.
