A Simple Traveler
Real name unknown, Ast chose his moniker because he felt it appropriate. An acronym for "a simple traveler," Ast isn't known well by many, including the crew of the Infernus where he normally resides.
The Ethereal Flame
Ast's abilities are similar to the other, more familiar Flame Knights like Haak or Rali. He can conjure and manipulate fire, with one key difference: Ast's body is intangible, and he cannot normally make physical contact with anything in the normal, material universe. This technique, however, allows him to briefly bring his opponent into Ast's world, where they are usually helpless, unable to defend against his attacks.

Ast's current whereabouts are unknown. Shortly after Nechrim headed off to investigate reports of an Ancient on a distant planet, Ast, too, disappeared. Neither returned, but while Ast may well still be alive due to his unique nature, Nechrim is believed to have met his end when the planet was destroyed.
