Your old Santa is dead, son.

Santa Claus also known as Saint Nicholas, Father Christmas, Kris Kringle, and simply "Santa," was a mythical being that brought gifts to the homes of the good children during the late evening and overnight hours of Christmas Eve, December 24. Over time Santa slowly grew corrupted and started to expand his influence into the criminal underworld; dealing in drugs, slavery, and underage prostitution, Santa eventually became the most powerful crime lord this world had ever seen. Eventually his reign of terror was brought to an end by a small group of adventurers lead by a version of Ryan in December of 2007.

Upon establishing a military base in the ruins of Santa's old home at the North Pole staffed by Galactic Republic Clone Troopers, Ryan ran Christmas for a number of years until it became apparent that he could no longer focus his full attention on the endeavor. After a quick search for a replacement, he came across Father of Ultra - An Ultra that's the Supreme Commander of the Space Garrison and ruler of M78. Father of Ultra had previously filled in for Santa in 1973 and he was a perfect fit for the job.

With the Clone Troopers serving as the new incarnation of Santa's Helpers due to all of the elves meeting brutal, violent deaths at the hands of the heroes, Father of Ultra is now Santa Claus 2.0.
