It began with a TV broadcast in late June 2018. Monokuma began spouting riddles and platitudes on TV using a hacked TV signal, bringing many people under subliminal hypnotic control all over the world, in all walks of power. A second broadcast set some people into motion, including Artemis, who stole Doctor Xadium's TARDIS and brought it to Enoshima Junko.
