Origin
Created to be a counterpart for Gemini Sunrise in the New Berlin Kagekiden, Kancer Kain's origins are somewhat obscured other then the fact that she was created as a clone through a strand of Gemini's hair. Raised to hate the woman who served to be source. After reaching the proper age, she was given her first assignment by Brent Furlong, the grandson of Bret Furlong.
New Berlin Kagekiden
On her first assignment, Kancer was sent out to kill the two Sunrise sisters partially as a proving test and as well to send a message to the Rising Valkyrie Unit. Starting off by killing those close to Geminine and trying to blame the deaths on her, she eventually was able to force a meeting with the Senka, the team that Gemini was a part of. While the New Berlin Kagekiden escaped, they left the senka team fairly upset, including Gemini who disliked the fact that someone had cloned her. With Brent Furlong announcing the reopening of the new Douglas Stewart company, Kancer settled in as one of the heads of security for the business.
Death
On January 12 2017, Kancer Kain was found on the Tokyo streets with a bullet in her brain. Teleported to The Hotel, it was discovered that not only had she sustained damaged through her skull but that she was suffering from a form of clone degeneration. In a show of kindness, Gemini offered to donate some of her blood, spinal fluid and marrow in an attempt to stabilize the woman. However, it seemed too late and with a parting word apparently asking for forgivince and the word "sewer", Kancer passed away. While Chat seemed interested in keeping the dead body in statsis as part of her growing collection, her body was later found apparently crumbled to dust, removing the chance of such a thing happening.
