Original Origins
Emi is the daughter of Ami and Mercurius, originally created by Maia of Mercury before the downfall of the Silver Millennium from the DNA of Matsuo Shin and her daughter Princess Angelina (reborn as Ami Mizuno), who had been a couple at one point.
When Matsuo led a group of Hotel denizens to Mercury, Emi was discovered and brought to Earth, where she resided with Matsuo's household until the creation of Mercurius.
However, Emi after a time became disquited by her own origins and not wanting to be forever an "artifical child" and as well to be a true child of her parents' love, Emi made a subconcious wish on the Cosmic Loadstone, resulting in a Quantum Probability Flux changing her own origins.
"Reborn" Origins
Emi Mizuno was the result of Ami and Mercurius' rather intense relationship. Due to a quirk in the mix between Quinoxian and "Mercurian" genetics, the intial pregnancy signs were delayed, followed by rapid development, much to Ami's consternation.
The infant Emi would eventually be born on October 2nd.
Trivia
- While originally six years old when first discovered, the effects of a "Quantum Probability Flux" event, her age was retconned to be much younger.
- Due to the wish upon the loadstone, Emi's original origin has been nearly forgotten by all barring a few individuals.
