History
Yuudai hails from a typical Japanese family, originally hailing from the Shinjuku district before moving to Azabu-Juuban. His father was a government official before deciding to resign and live his dream of running his own noodle shop. His mother is a housewife and also helps at the family's new noodle shop. Yuudai himself has dreamed of being a duelist for as long as he can remember. He used to watch the televized duels from Battle City when he was younger.
After failing to pass the test to enter Duel Academia's remote island campus, Yuudai nearly gave up his dream until news reached him that a mainland Duel Academy branch was opening near his new home town. After a long test duel with various students and teachers, Yuudai earned his spot in the school and is striving to do his best to live his dream, despite his naive nature about the world and people.
