Trivia
- When Pinako and friends spoke to the Battler whose Battle Card was stolen, he states that he never got to battle, meaning he would have still had 3 Battle chips to his name, Cochran however had 7 Battle chips, indicating he had stolen at least 4 more chips in addition to a Battle Card.
- The title on Delphius's book is called "Crystal World", a reference to Sailor Moon Crystal, as well as a premonition of the card he would play twelve episodes later.
- Sunashi Nishio was credited in the cast list for this episode, despite Narun having no lines.
- This is the first appearance of the The Dark Remnants since Val's Secret Monster Warrior, The Three Kings of Heaven are Actually Four!, the five people wouldn't be properly introduced until Tokyoma Gaiden V.
