Early Life

"Akane"'s parents are unknown as is her birthdate. Even her real name is a mystery. What is known is that at some point in her young life she was picked up or adopted into the terrorist group "Panther Claw." Much of her childhood thus was made up of training to steal, hunt and fight hand to hand. At the same time, she underwent various genetic alternations to increase her natural strength and speed. After much training (and some abuse), the girl was given the title "Lynx Claw" and sent out on missions.

The Rise and Fall of Lynx Claw

The girl eventually took on the name Akane and secretly joined Saint Chapel School for Girls, trying to get close to Panther Claw's enemy Honey Kisaragi. Several times, Akane would try to attack Honey but always the other girl managed to find some way to defeat her or prevent her from making her plans come to fruition. At one point, in order to even the odds against Honey, Akane was injected with "D-Cells" (in fact cells belonging to a species of Youma), giving her greater powers then before.

Eventually, Lynx Claw was given the task of kidnapping the young Keiko Obana, the daughter of Professor Obana, an expert in cybernetics. Lynx was able to do so, trapping the girl in a warehouse, while at the same time taking Arisu Umisato, the daughter of the leader of the Umisato Yakuza, hostage. Before she could take the girls away, Cutey Honey appeared, fighting the girl hand to hand. Cutey Honey finally got the best of the villianous teenager, only for the two be interrupted by a white haired girl, who convinced Honey to spare Lynx, while the girl tried to convince the teenager to turn over a new life. These words seem to work, as Akane gave up the identity of Lynx Claw and returned to Saint Chapel School to live out her life as an ordinary teenager. Behind the scenes, the white haired girl managed to threaten the heads of Panther Claw to keep away from Akane.

Mother. Housewife. Former Criminal.

Akane, attempting to leave behind her criminal background, decided to embrace a new, sunnier personality and so adopted a hippie like persona for herself. Not long after, she met Arata Ten'ou and after a whirlwind romance married him. Not long after, Akane gave birth to their first child, a daughter named Naoko. Akane worked at a flower shop, deciding to take the most generically "mom" job she could take. A few years later, she gave birth to a second daughter, Haruka. While Akane was very proud of Naoko, she saw far too much of herself in Haruka and soon started to act far more sternly with the girl. When Haruka cut off her hair in an attempt to mimic her more popular sister, Akane yelled at the girl for the first time in her life. During this time as well, Akane began to use make-up and prostetics to hide the fact that she had stopped aging from the rest of her family.

As Haruka grew up, Akane became more weary of the girl's behavior, the cracks in her own "perfect housewife" personality starting to appear. When Haruka suddenly paired up Michiru Kaioh, Akane recognized the girl as the daughter of her former hostage, Arisu, and tried to break the two up, fearing her daughter discovering her own past. This lead to an argument between the two, which ultimately lead to Akane kicking her out of the house. Haruka misinterpreted this as being against her lifestyle and the two cut off ties for the time being. After this, Akane would spend most of her time focusing on Naoko and her elder daughter's family, while feeling more and more uneasy about her own life.

The B**tch is back

Eventually Akane and Arata was invited to the marriage of Haruka and Michiru. Feeling somewhat uneasy but still trying to maintain her friendly composure, Akane went to the wedding. While she kept up her composure, the night took a sudden downturn when Arisu managed to seduce away her husband, leaving her behind. This proved the final straw, as Akane finally gave up on her hippie housewife persona and decided to return to her original personality. Stealing away her husband's money, Akane bought a small apartment and holed up in it, using her old Panther Claw connections to send assassins against her former husband.

New House, New Rules

On Janury 20, 2024, Akane finally grew bored of her little game and so burnt down the apartment building, collecting the insurance money and decided to head off to her daughter's place to bum off her. What lies in the future is anyone's guess.

Trivia

• Akane's speed, strength and healing abilities are ten times those of a normal human being.

• Despite her sternness and somewhat aggressive attitude, Akane does deeply love her daughter and wishes the best for her.

• Akane was ranked 1st out of all junior agents for Panther Claw.

• Due to have changed Haruka's diapers so many times in the past, Akane is immune to any and all toxic fumes.

• As well as being a member of Panther Claw back in the 70s, Akane may have had some role in the "Devil-Man Incident".

• Akane has an addiction to coffee, much like her daughter is to alcohol.
