Lydia Moon is a short woman of barely five feet tall, but her manner is utterly implacable. Completely unphased by threats even when growing up, she currently has built a quiet but respectable legal practice on her agile legal mind an utter inability to be intimidated by threats to her person.
She currently is quite a globetrotter, and travels to various sovereign nations to "pinch hit" as a prosecutor. Meaning that when there is a criminal of such power, wealth, and reach that many fear to accost them, she eagerly offers her formidable legal services to put that entity away. Often working pro bono, she has racked up quite a number of convictions, especially in someone so young. While she might not be known as the best prosecutor available, she is known for being absolutely unwavering in her zeal to bring cases to court. Threats from criminals of even the vilest nature do not phase her, and she politely eschews discussion of the strong possibility of criminal vendetta against her.
History
Perhaps it is because of threats such as these that almost all records of Lydia Moon's past have seemingly been either erased or hidden very well. While records exist of her birth, there is a span of three years between the ages of 18-21 where almost no data can be found on her at all. This leads some to question what she did during her adolescence, but she points to her completely pristine record, as well as her numerous acts of community service, in order to smooth away questions about this seeming missing chapter of her life.
Her ancestry is Korean on her father's side, but she blends into almost any crowd. She is a polyglot, fluent in many languages, and holds citizenships, both honorary and otherwise, in many nations. Known for her iron will and indomitable presence, she has her own circle of admirers. She is quite tolerant of people who have never heard of her, since many of her greatest exploits are in third-world nations, and accepts that many prosecutors have amassed bigger reputations and following than she. One such individual is Franziska von Karma, whom she admits she has heard of. Whatever her thoughts on this, she keeps them, as well as most of her emotions, upon a rather tight leash, and appears inscrutable most of the time.
While Lydia might, in her most unguarded moment, admit that her lifestyle has made her some dangerous enemies, does not let the threat of violence keep her from her crusade. Attempts to influence her often prove futile, and she has steely determination and a will of iron that seems nigh-impossible to subvert.
She also occasionally takes on extremely challenging and delicate matters of diplomacy. Using her seeming fearlessness at even the most awkward social situations, and numerous contacts within governments, she has used her profound abilities of articulation as a negotiator in order to help resolve several volatile international disputes. It was this diplomatic calling that led her into the company of the residents of the Ten'Aino Hotel.
Entrance into the House
Lydia Moon was convinced to enter the a very specific Hotel on Papaya, during her course of preparing for her incredibly important upcoming trial of one of the few who might be able to lead to the whereabouts of the entity known as the "Hidden Prince," one of the most elusive, powerful, and brutal drug-lords ever known.
Convinced that she alone could likely muster the skill and courage to broker an extradition treaty with an extremely powerful and diplomatically important nation known as the Isle of Pandorica, she accepted the mission, read the material and dossiers she was provided, and prepared to open negotiations. Forewarned by her contacts that this locale was rife with criminals, threats, and illegal aliens, and that she might really have to get aggressive to make them come to heel and hand over a specific fugitive, she girded herself, starched and ironed her face, left the interrogation of the "Hidden Prince's" lieutenant in other hands, and set out for Tokyo for a seemingly more-important mission.
In early September, 2012, Lydia walked into the Hotel while it was situated in Papaya, seemingly on a diplomatic mission. Unfortunately, even for the ineffable Prosecutor Moon, things went poorly. It seemed that both the nation, and their 0legal representative, the highly reputed Harriet Weinberg, had absolutely NO INTEREST in her proposals whatsoever. While she took this with calm determination at first, subtly repeating that she represented powerful entities who should not be ignored, she was quickly trumped by the claim that her location was in fact so secret that there were no treaties that covered the conduct and actions where she currently was.
Though she initially was extremely unpleasant when she met with resistance, she presented evidence of new dealings that might be connected to Anthony Suthers, she realized that this was actually a group who she could not touch, and might actually be completely ignored if she "had an accident."
Uncertain what to do after she realized she was being deliberately misled by people from the law-enforcement agencies she trusted, she has not yet left the Hotel, in order to figure out what exactly is going on--as well as the fact that these entities she has run into both have never heard of her, and believe her to possibly be a spy or imposter.
