Early Life
Astrid Sunrise was born to Gemini Sunrise and Shinjiro Taiga sometime in the distant future of an alternate version of Earth 1337-A. Her parents had left Earth for the untested colony of Neo-Texas, setting up their own ranch. Astrid would be born a few weeks after their arrival.
Growing up, Astrid was surrounded by the wildlife of her parent's farm, especially bonding with the horses. At the same time, she began to develop an independent streak, often exploring the surrounding areas of the ranch on her own, much to her parents' frustration. As well, Astrid would show the same powerful spirit energy that her mother and father had, though Astrid would find that her mother would try and discourage her from learning any sort of weapon skills, wanting to give her child a quiet life, without having to worry about facing off against the sort of enemies she had once fought.
