Allelia

An Allelia is a person born with a calling to serve the gods of Mount Olympus. Unfortunately, very little about them has survived the centuries, and the only knowledge known is the lore gathered from Kore, the only known Allelia in the current time.

The lore states that Allelia are usually the children of demigods, and carry some kind of physical sign. Whether the sign is always the same, or individual to the person, however, is unknown. Nevertheless, this sign will always appear when in the presence of a deity of the Olympian paradigm. The Allelia may be called upon by any deity of the paradigm for service or worship, although the Allelia does have a choice and can set limits of they so desire, as Kore has had to do.

Although she doesn't know what Allelia in the past did, Kore is devoted to a particular major god, the goddess Athena, and also a few minor gods, the Muses and Oneiroi. She also provides services to the hamadryad Lily Ambrose. Although she has interaction at times with all gods of the paradigm who have been awakened, Athena has made clear her expectations of all parties.

Upon her marriage to Hephaestus in October of 2016, it was decided that she would remain Allelia for the time being, and if necessary something could be done about it later. This implies that it is possible for an Allelia to become a regular Human.
