Early Life

Minako Aino was born on October 22, 200X. Her mother worked as a house wife, while her father was a worker in an apparently nameless office job. Growing up, Minako was apparently seen as fairly tomboyish compared to other girls. At some point during elementary school, Minako met Hikaru Sorano, becoming best friends with her. Minako eventually attended Shiba Koen Middle School.

Codename: Sailor V

One day, while Minako was attending gym class at middle school, the teenage girl accidentally fell on top of a mysterious white cat. Enamored with one of her upper classmen, Minako soon met the cat once again, discovering not only that he could talk, but also that she was apparently a magical girl, the decedent of Aphrodite herself, Codename: Sailor V. Much to her distress, Minako was forced to destroy the boy she loved, after learning that he was in fact a monster serving the villainous Dark Agency. Taking to the role of a superhero easily, Minako would find herself fighting against numerous enemies, at times also being saved by a mysterious man known only as Kaito Ace. Eventually, Minako would learn her ally was not all he seemed to be: he was in fact Danburite, a former soldier of the kingdom of Venus who had been in love with its princess, but could only watch from a distance as she gave up romance for her duties; his anger caused him to switch sides to the Dark Agency. Battling her, Minako fully awoke to her true identity, that of Sailor Venus and was forced to destroy Danburite for good. Saddened by this, Minako was none the less resolute in fulfilling her duties to protect the Moon Princess.

War against the Dark Kingdom

Minako continued her role as Sailor V, apparently acting as a secret agent for the Tokyo Police. At the same time, however, she continued to monitor the Dark Kingdom, the group which had been behind the Dark Agency. She also kept an eye on the other guardians who had awoken since. Minako finally made her presence known, saving Sailor Moon from Zoisite, though in order to protect Usagi, she had taken on the identity of the Moon Princess in an effort to act as a decoy for the Dark Kingdom. It was only after Usagi finally awoke as Princess Serenity that Minako would abandon this name. In an effort to stop Queen Beryl, the leader of the Dark Kingdom, the Guardians travelled to the moon, where Venus removed the Moon Sword from its resting place. Facing down the evil Queen in her base at the North Pole, the Guardians were about to attack her when a strange pink haired little girl suddenly appeared out of nowhere and blasted away the villain to nothing. Introducing herself to the very confused Guardians as Chibi-Usa, their new princess, she left the teenage girls with no one else to fight. With nothing more to do, Minako and the others returned home. Minako, for her part, decided to keep the Moon Sword, hanging it up in her room.

The Future is Now!

The peace wasn’t long lived, as a new group of enemies from the future soon arrived. The Black Moon Clan, seeking out “The Rabbit” as well as the silver crystal, began to kidnap each of the guardians one by one, the last one being Minako herself. However, before they could get very far, Chibi-Usa once again made her presence known, summoning a Sailor Guardian from mid-air and dropping her through the enemy’s UFO, destroying it and Rubies, who had been piloting it. The girl would then disappear before returning after having “delt with the problem.”

Minako a few days later would meet the girl, Matsumi Shin, in person and help her with shopping so that she could move into Makoto Kino’s apartment.

Infinity and beyond!

One morning, Minako and the other girls stopped by the Crown Arcade to try their hands at a new machine. While Usagi was hopeless at the game, they did meet an apparently handsome young man named Haruka Tenou. The fun was cut short, however, as a high school student transformed into a monster before their very eyes. While Sailor Venus and the others were able to defeat the creature and save the student, they became suspicious of Mugen Academy, the school where the girl was attending. Deciding to investigate, Minako went along with the others, while Usagi and Matsumi tried to sneak into the school itself. The operation didn’t last very long as not long after Usagi and Matsumi returned, Chibi-Usa once again showed up, having “befriended” the founder of the school, as well as his daughter, Hotaru, who she reveled also to be a Sailor Guardian named Sailor Saturn. With another threat gone, Minako returned to her regular teenage life, as she attempted to prepared herself for high school exams.

Frustrated with the fact that Rei didn’t have to take exams for high school and curious about her school, Minako disguised herself as a student and snuck in, hoping to experience a day in life of a student there. However, Minako soon discovers to her distress that she doesn’t fit in at the academy. Upset by this, Minako accidentally awoke an evil spirit at the school, which soon possessed Rei, causing the girl to go on the rampage and was only stopped by Minako using one of Rei’s own exorcism moves to banish it once again. Not long after this, Minako would pass her exams to attend Juuban High School.

However, a new problem would arise. Having decided that with the current threats having given them no reason to continue using their current forms, the cats uniamously chose to utilize their humanoid selves from this point on. Minako, however, would soon realize that Artemis could no longer live with her, due to the trouble it might cause and forced her former pet to move, though she could keep in touch with him constantly.

Dream a little Dream

Not long after the first day of high school, Minako and the other girls would attend a display of a rare event: a total solar eclipse. While for the most part the gathering went without a hitch, the only odd thing would be Chibi-Usa suddenly appearing with her new “boyfriend” in tow, along with a group of girls who she proclaimed to be her own guardians. It would be during this time that Minako, always a lover of idols as well as video games, would fully get into the Vtuber movement, streaming under the name of “Crystal_V.” She also hosts the "Ten Second Minute", along with Matsumi Shin.

Minako Aino currently attends Juuban High School, living out her teenage life to the fullest.

Personality

Minako Aino is an upbeat bundle of energy, with a love of music and video games. In many ways she’s a bit of a tomboy but she has her romantic side as well, with a great interest in the nature of love. She is a natural athlete and isn’t afraid to get herself dirty when playing sports, which tends to turn off some people, who see her as being too rough natured. At her core, she is a caring and loyal friend, who isn’t afraid to dive right in to help others, even if it can be a hassle to her sometimes.
