Celeste is a princess, although we're not sure what of. She has been cursed by a powerful wizard who she turned down, and maintains the form of a lioness for 12 hours per day. She and her protector/lover Himeko Ito came to The House recently, hoping to find help. However, without the wizard, not much can be done at this point.
While a lioness in form, Celeste seems to retain the instincts and tastes of a human only, as evidanced by her clear preference for Human food and lack of interest in exploring her new body. This may suggest that the spell is a sort of physical illusion only, and that it is not a genetic change.
