Background
The personified form of Sakura Xadium Aino's Crysteel Zanpakuto, Arataka, she was released when Fenric attacked Sakura, intending to kill her in revenge for Cressida Sumire Xadium-Aino's rewriting of the future to stop the Tairon threat which robbed Fenric and the Gods of Ragnarok of their "Millennium of Darkness". Fenric shattered the blade and released Arataka, who promptly sliced him to ribbons sending him back to his realm in disgrace. Now she has elected to remain in human form and serve the descendants of the Shinguuji clan, taking the burden of battle from Sakura once and for all.
On April 15, 2015, she was given a mysterious order to start working at Big Grocery.

- In an attempt to make her like games, Vermellia introduced her to Candy Crush Saga. This was a mistake. Arataka is now obsessively hooked on it as well as other Facebook games like Farmville, and she constantly spams everyone with games requests.
