Seishin Island
Seishin Island is an island located in the Pacific Ocean, not far from Japan. The island is most well known as the home of the Shin Acadamy.
History
Seishin Island had been most uninhabited until at least the Momoyama period, when the island was discovered by accident by a storm tossed ship. Additional ships would arrive, bringing with them a small number colonists. However, due to the size of the island and it's location, any further attempts of inhabitation failed outside two small villages, though the Japanese government did continue to acknowledge it as their territory. Ships would continue to buy supplies but it would not be until the 1920s that the island gained some importance. Deciding to move forward with a plan to expand on the Capitol Defense Program, members of said group chose the island as the location for their new school, which was to be used to create a new generation of Spirit Warriors, making a deal with the inhabitants in the process. However, the plan ultimatly failed, though a few buildings were built. The island would be left mostly to it's own devices
