The head of state on the Land of Light, The Father of Ultra is one of the strongest of all Ultras on the planet. First appearing on Earth in the year 1973, The Father of Ultra arrived in time to save the Ultra Brothers from the clutches of Hipporo-Seijin. However, he sacrificed too much of his energy and was left in a near-death coma. Taken back to the Land of Light by his wife, The Mother of Ultra, he was soon revived. Returning to Earth several times to provide spiritual support to younger Ultras, he avoids direct combat when at all possible. He once more returned to combat to help out the young warrior Ultraman Mebius in battle.
