Background

A warrior specially trained in martial arts since childhood, Powered was chosen along with his friend Great by Ultraman King to track down and defeat the monster known as Gudis. However, while tracking down the creature, Powered discovered a mutated species of Baltan-Seijin heading towards Earth. Stopping an early attack on the Baltan ship by Earth team WINR, Powered decided to follow the example of his predecessors. Landing on Earth, Powered merged with WINR member, Kenichi Kai, and succededed in driving off the Baltans for the time being. Staying along with WINR, Powered faced down several returning monsters such as Dada, Gomola and Red King. Unbeknownst to Powered, his merger with Kai was putting the young man in danger. For each injury the ultraman got, Kai recieved as well. When a mysterious new version of Dorako appeared, Powered was unprepared to defend himself and was badly injured, leaving Kai nearly in a coma. Seeing the results of his mistakes, Powered unmerged himself with Kai as the mutant Baltans unleashed a recreated Z-TON. With little power and time left, Powered found himself defeated and near death. Soon after the monster's and Baltan's defeat by the WINR team, Powered was taken back home by Zoffy and Ultraman Great. Kenichi Kai was last seen in the company of a man known as Jack Shindo. He has not been sighted since 1997.
