Shambles

Shambles are genetically engineered beings created by The Society of The Golden Crescent.

Background

Shambles are created by forcibly injecting humans with Dust and retroviral agents to create an irreversable mutation that turns them into a distorted humanoid being that is at least part Sailor Senshi. According to Professor Tomoe, their mutations are still "incomplete", so it's possible that in time their misshapen forms might resolve into something more akin to a standard human senshi form.

Psychology

Unlike past "monsters of the week" that the Sailor Senshi have faced, Shambles are not monosyllabic grunts. They all have their own personality and intelligence, and at times have even demonstrated honor and frustration. This gives them the ability to strategize and hunt independently, without the need to wait for orders from anyone.

They also believe themselves to be legitimate Sailor Senshi, with others being "apostates". They are fiercely loyal to their "Shining Queen".

Capabilities

While some of them use standard Senshi-like "attacks" that are called out, others are able to simply use their bodies to become the element they are associated with. For example, the shambles "Sailor ACIDFLAME" was able to convey their body directly into a liquid acid which they could use to envelop, whip or pierce opponents.

End Form

The Shambles themselves appeared to be a step along the road towards creating a new Sailor Senshi whole cloth from human beings, though the results (as seen thus far) have tended to be extremely psychologically unstable.
