Mindy Solana
Biography
Mindy was born in Bird Island, Minnesota. Her mother runs a day care and her father worked as a mechanic. Like most little kids living in Minnesota, Mindy learned how to ice skate and took to playing hockey. Surprisingly, she was very good at playing goaltender and started playing in after school activities. She played into the college level but ultimately decided that she was going to move to New York to ultimately study Criminal Psychology. She pursues hockey as a hobby and tries to go to games when she can but she has a knack for knowing things in people.
Trivia
- Mindy was a childhood fan of the Colorado Avalanche and her favorite player was Patrick Roy. In the early 2000s her favorite players included Evgeni Nabokov and Martin Brodeur and her current favorite player is Henrik Lundqvist (...okay maybe it's because he's dreamy) .
- ...Mindy might really like goaltenders, okay.
Sailor Miranda
Powers
Miranda's one of the few senshi whose powers aren't offense based. Her powers pertain to healing others and acting as a line of defense.
Deflection
She has a sense of when, where and what kind of attack is coming and she can deflect it. She can deflect plenty of attacks against herself for long periods of time but the larger the attack the fewer she can deflect. The thinnest she can spread herself is to deflect one massive blast the size of a fortress. The one interesting thing is when she wears herself that thinly her hair rapidly changes from silver to black.
Healing
Miranda can heal any wound on others and herself. She simply has to trace the outline of the wound and it closes. When it comes to broken bones or internal injuries she has to concentrate and hover her hands over the person and it can take a decent amount of time. When it comes to mental damage she has to sit with the person and meditate on them and it can take hours or even days. The more that she uses her healing skills her hair changes from black to silver.
