Nickolas Collins, the Prince Regent of Quinox, is the son of Sean and Rhea. He is futurespawn from Earth-1337-B.

Early Life

Born as the only child and son of Sean Collins, the Earl of Titan, and his wife Rhea in the 30th century. Born as a hybrid child with a mother from beyond the Sol, Nickolas faced persecution and hate from many of the Sol residents who mistrusted aliens who originated from outside the solar system. He was also feared by the other children due to the flame he inherited from his family's bloodline. An eerie green flame with a dark aura. When he was six years old, a specter of darkness came to take possession of the boy so that he could be utilized for dark purposes. Rhea fought to protect her son from the specter, eventually sacrificing herself and her flame to banish the creature of darkness. Sean arrived too late to save his wife, but her final words to him was a warning of the fate of their son and his flame. Nickolas was horribly traumatized by the loss of his mother, and he blamed himself for her death. His only solace was the company he kept with his family's closest friends in the royal house of Quinox. He grew up alongside Miki Kaze, and looked to her family for training, guidance, and family support. Nickolas trained and studied to be a knight under his father and King Hideki. He would eventually inherit the title and position of Saturn Knight, but his training was slightly hindered by his own fear of his Fel Flame power. Nick didn't want his power to cause anyone else to be hurt or die because of him. He tried to hide and suppress his power thinking that this was the best way to protect the people he cared about. Unfortunately, this only made the power harder to control. One day, he lost his temper after some kids at his academy mocked his alien mother, and he nearly burned down the west wing. Sean quickly pulled Nickolas from school, and the two had a long talk about his power and its possible potential. Sean started training Nick and teaching him about the flame, allowing Nick to gain control over the Fel Flame for the time being. Sean warned Nick that he would have to undergo much more in depth training when they plan a trip to the Temple of Flame on Io. Things seemed to settle down since the incident at the academy, and Nickolas returned to his studies. As time went on, Nickolas developed feelings for his childhood sweetheart, Miki. He eventually worked up the courage to confess his feelings for her, much to the dismay of his sensei, Hideki. After his confession of love to the Quinoxian princess, word spread fast and almost immediately Nickolas faced disapproval and persecution from many of the interplanetary nobles who thought that a hybrid child should not be allowed to court one of the royal heiresses. The young Earl refused to stand down, and despite the disapproval of the interplanetary nobles, he continued his courtship of the princess. One day, he was cornered by some young nobles who gave the young Earl one final warning to stop pursuing the princess. When Nickolas refused, the young nobles assaulted him and mocked his "impure" hybrid blood. Princess Miki happened to come upon the assault and tried to stop the young nobles, only to be shoved aside by a duke's son. Upon seeing his beloved shoved down, Nickolas lost his temper and his Fel Flame burned wild once again, throwing back his assailants and burning them severely. He didn't realize it until it was too late that he had also burned Miki's arm with his powerful outburst. Miki was taken home and treated for her burn. King Hideki was furious and forbade Nickolas from coming near the princess. Nickolas was devastated and ashamed, and he fell into an deep isolated depression. It was this time that Sean decided that now was the time for them to leave and go to the Temple of Flame on Io so that Nickolas could undergo some intense training so that he could master his Fel Flame.

Time and Relative present

Nickolas's training lasted for two whole years at the temple. Over that time, he had no contact with Quinox or the royal family, but he never stopped thinking about his beloved and how his only desire was to love and protect her. Upon the completion of his training and returning home, Nickolas dared to return to Quinox, and ask for Miki's hand. Nickolas married Miki and has retired from the title and position of Saturn Knight. He has returned the Sword of Silence to Saturn to await a new worthy son to take the title and position.

• Nickolas's favorite food is Steak, and his least favorite food is Asparagus.
• Nickolas still keeps his favorite childhood toy that his mother had given him; a stuffed bear named "Mr. Ted".
