A young English girl who was orphaned at the age of 5 when her parents were killed, seemingly in a random skiing accident. (It turns out they sacrificed themselves to free their daughter of a blood-debt to an ancient god). Brlliant, she made it to Oxford at 15, dropping out after one year due to discovering the truth behind her family's occult history and making her way to The Burning Sodality as she vainly tried to battle the god, which was attacking their homeworld.

Her butler's name is Winston Wodehouse

The Sorceresses of the Soldality, impressed by her courage and seeing in her a vast potential, elected to save her life and train her in their ways, the first Outworlder ever to be granted such a privilege. In return, she shook up their stolid culture and encouraged them to "look beyond their own navels" and protect the rest of the universe. Now, an esteemed member of their inner circle, she does what she can to help the people of Earth when she's not busy trying to become a famous author of notoriously poor erotic fiction.

She is a "shit gamer", self-described as a "filthy casual" who prefers mobile games.

Abilities and Attacks

  • she has an excellent memory.
  • Knowledge of how to apply Pressure point Ki-inhibiting "Meridian Locks".
  • Ability to project mental illusions, appear disinteresting to anyone less than a Sherlock-level intellect, influence the minds of the weak, strong telepathy that can induce false sensations of pain. Her inducement powers fail against the extremely strong of will or the extremely stupid.
  • The ability to find the breakpoint of inanimate matter and break the matter-energy bond within to destroy incoming objects.
  • she can temporarily alter and reinforce the matter of her own body to make it more resilient and capable aof taking and inflicting damage. This includes making her muscles more resilient and dense, but it takes a heavy mental toll.

Paisley is strongly limited from exercising her powers to the full by her human brain structure, which is not well adapted to using the higher order techniques of the alien Sodality.
