Meguro Yoshito High School is a school located in Meguro (Ward) in Tokyo, Japan.

General Information

The school was founded in 1945, shortly after the end of the war. In 1947, it became a pilot program for the new education reforms that were being pushed for Japan at the time. Meguro Yoshito empathizes "global co-operation in the world of education", with a vibrant transfer program for international students, though in practice, very few were accepted. In 1977, the school was closed due to a lack of student bodies, but re-opened in 1980 thanks to some re-organization by the Ministry of Education.

Uniforms

Girl's uniforms consist of a green blazer, white shirt, pink bow and green skirt. Boy's uniform consist of a green blazer, white shirt, dark blue tie and green pants. Gym uniforms consist of white shirts and green shorts (originally green short-shorts for girls until recently).
