Background

In 2009, Up-Front Group made the executive decision to open up the Hello! Project ranks to male members after graduating many of the older female idols. Auditions were held, with the notion that one or two groups would be made, and a new sub-division of H!P, Ongaku Shonen, would be formed for touring. Many auditioned, but the people that made it through were not your average boys next door. They all had special abilities and talents that would be useful in combating evil where ever it may reveal itself.

After the auditions, a group of ten boys, ranging in age, where accepted. Eight of them were formed into a group, Kings of Heart. Half way through their training, Tsunku added another member, and the first generation of the group was finalized. They made their concert debut that summer.

• 黒沢 雄大 Kurosawa Yuudai (Leader) | Age 25(?)
  • Known alias: Rider You
  • Originally a Rider for Shocker, Yuudai was kept in suspended animation until he would be needed. That never happened; before this reality's Shocker disbanded, Yuudai remained in his tank with a timed lock-release. Yuudai wouldn't be released until 2008. He escaped the long-abandoned lab and was found by an old classmate, who now teaches at T*A as a robotics professor. His armor was modified, and Yuudai vowed to protect the people he was supposed to oppress.

• 服部 半蔵 Hattori Hanzo (Sub-leader) | Age 22
  • Known alias: Shadow of Shibuya (渋谷の影)
  • The son of a famed swordsman and sword smith with the same name, Hanzo is the latest in a long line of warriors. Trained in the arts of ninjutsu at the Hayate Way Ninja Gakuen, he took up the fight of his ancestors, protecting the youth of Shibuya from the threat of the Yakuza.

  • Known alias: none
  • No information at this time.

• 山本 礼(ヨリ) Yamamoto Yori | Age 18
  • Known alias: SamuraiGreen
  • Previously active in a small village, Yori is an example of the boy next-door, bringing to the stage a show of the traditional Japanese teenaged male. He has previous experience with team work, and one of his associates is also in this group. He shows remarkable skill with a katana.

• ラングレー・華原 Langley Kahara | Age 17
  • Known alias: none
  • Information is scarce. He first appeared as the assistant to Allison Blitz, and at her urging auditioned for the group. There are no records of his birth in Japan or Germany, where he claims to have lived previously, but there is a missing persons report in Berlin for a similarly named teenager, who looks strikingly similar to the Langley in our report.

• 清野 和彦 Kiyono Kazuhiko | Age 17
  • Known alias: Iron Bullet (鉄の弾丸)
  • Wearing a suit made of a sentient metal alien, Kazu runs around the streets of Tokyo to stop the crimes of an invading mobster from the outer rim of the Milky Way. Seems to be causing trouble for the space police, has been pinged on their radar.
