The Ginsen Effect

The Ginsen Effect is a series of phenomena observed to occur in Ginsen City.

Temporal Potential

The city of Ginsen exists within a pocket of Quantum Temporal Potential. In this setting, the 80s apparently never ended. Now, this is not to say that the historical events that happened in the 80s are occurring at that moment. Rather, within Ginsen City, the pop culture and technology of the 80s continued to evolve within that specific style rather then being replaced by the pop culture of the 90s. Due to this, individuals who live in Ginsen City tend to have the 80s as a general reference point for their lives.

(Translation: Ginsen City is set in a location where the 80s never ended. It is not litraly 1980-1989 but rather the same in pop culture and technology.)

Temporal Alternation

Along with the Quantum Temporal Potential, a strange Meta Field also seems to be in place. Visitors and technology from outside the city may find themselves transformed upon entering it's city limits. This includes hair style as well as clothing, making them appear in a more 80s style then they were before. Individuals who live in the city may appear differently to those who are from outside, though they themselves will actually take no change.

(Translation: People who enter Ginsen City change so their clothes and hairstyle are in an 80s style. People who live in Ginsen City don't change because they already look like they're from the 80s)

Temporal Rejuvination

In VERY rare cases, it seems some individuals actually change age when they enter the city, becoming younger then they were before. This seems to relate to those who have unique states of creation, including those of a magical status. So far only two individuals seem to have been affected this way: Kanri Felinius and her sister Daini Felinius.

(Translation: People like Kanri and Daini get younger when they enter Ginsen City)
