Saint Something Four

The Saint Something Four is an ordinary looking set of jewelry that holds extraordinary powers and symbolism, especially when wielded by the Ai Tenshi. It consists of the following pieces:

• Saint Something Borrowed: An emerald necklace; symbolizes friendship

• Saint Something Old: A ruby ring; symbolizes the love of family

• Saint Something New: A diamond tiara; symbolizes hope for the future

• Saint Something Blue: Sapphire earrings; symbolizes the love of nature

History

During the first days of the war between Akuma Kai and Tenshi Kai, the Saint Something Four were separated and hidden by the queen of Tenshi Kai, Aphrodite. The Saint Something New, Saint Something Borrowed and Saint Something Blue were sent to Earth in a meteor shower, while Aphrodite's strongest warrior, Celeste, was blown to Earth in battle while wearing the Something Old.

Years later (during the events of Wedding Peach), Momoko Hanasaki was attacked by the devil Pluie, who had his sights set on Momoko's heirloom ruby ring. It was later discovered that this ring, which had been left behind by Momoko's mother Sakura, was the Saint Something Old. The Saint Something Blue was discovered some time later by Yuri Tanima in a hidden crypt underneath a cemetery, while the Saint Something Borrowed was "lent" to Hinagiku Tamano in the guise of an ordinary friendship necklace. The Saint Something New was briefly discovered, then lost again, during a heated battle. However that brief discovery was enough to alert one Scarlet Ohara to its location and regain her full powers as Angel Salvia.

The Saint Something Old, Saint Something Borrowed and Saint Something Blue summon the three powerful weapons of Wedding Peach, Angel Daisy and Angel Lily, known as the Saint Crystal, Saint Tornade and Saint Strahl. When the powers of all the Saint Something Four are invoked--which usually involves all four of the Ai Tenshi--it will substantially amplify their power and purify any evil energy in a large area. When Wedding Peach wears all four pieces (which she did during the final battle against Reine Devilla) her power is greatly amplified as a result.

Since Aphrodite has supplied the Ai Tenshi with new weapons and powers, she has assumed the Saint Something Four back into her possession. As Scarlet is one of the Ai Tenshi, she has lent the Saint Something Four on numerous occasions to brides marrying in #suburbansenshi2 as a gesture of goodwill.
