Hidden Prince

The "Hidden Prince" is a name whispered in shadows. Allegedly, this entity, or group, is responsible for a staggering amount of crime, smuggling, and racketeering throughout the Pacific and Pacific Rim. The entity seems to be utterly untouchable, possessing contacts in almost every government, and tolerates no rivals. With seemingly limitless influence and funds, the few who know of its existence are brutally suppressed, blackmailed, and controlled.

It is rumored that a high-ranking member of a Human smuggling ring, who might know something about this shadowy and utterly formidable organization was captured in Manilla in late August, 2012. Wanting to apply as much force to this potential informant as possible, Lydia Moon was summoned to interrogate him in the interests of determining whether he was truly as valuable an asset as believed.

Unfortunately, for unknown reasons, the supposedly-fearless prosecutor did not show up to interrogate this possible lead. At 11:43 pm on September 6, 2012, the man was discovered dead in his cell before an alternative interrogator could be found. Some of the investigators in Manilla were driven to suicide due to this enormous setback, and numerous law enforcement resignations and demotions have occurred following numerous cases of "acting on uncertain evidence."

Some think the cartel run by the Hidden Prince is utterly untouchable if its reach is this far, and should be feared by all. The supposed task force assigned to investigate it has been dismantled, with high-level advisors in various governments openly stating that stopping them may well be hopeless in the current distrusting international climate.
