Significant Figures

• Malice Maslov

Knight Captain Maslov is a brave and just soldier who fights for his people and encourages them to fight for what they believe is right. He is fierce in battle, but his greatest weakness may be the mercy he shows. Even as his mental state decays, and his mind slips into episodes of PTSD with images of wartime brutality filling his mind, he tries his best to stand strong for his fellow comrades, and those who see him as a beacon of hope. He is in charge of the knight battalion, and a natural leader out on the streets, and out on the battlefield.

• Kevlar Maslov

This bastard of an assassin spends his time smoking and drinking at the bar, but don’t mistake his inebriated appearance as a sign of a weak person. He’ll bust your jaw as soon as you give him a reason to, as he’s always seeking the thrill of a fist fight. It’s unfortunate that the reason he drinks and fights so much is that he too suffers a case of PTSD, like his son. The deaths of his family and the memories of being tortured will forever haunt his memory. He often contemplates suicide, but someone who goes by the alias “________” keeps him from it.

• Tenebre Animus

This masked marauder is the renegade of Ebonspire, often resorting to vigilante acts to keep Ebonspire on the right track, and away from corruption. He and Malice have a sort of friendly rivalry. Tenebre doesn’t know it yet, but he has a powerful connection that keeps him alive. If you ever find yourself in a position to meet him face to make, you’ll take quick note of his playful, trickster-like behavior.

• Arcane Animus

While Arcane Animus is well-known in the city of Ebonspire as a genius play director, his private life isn’t well-known. Actually, his private life isn’t known at all. One thing is for sure, he is a true romantic. He is passionate for the story of happiness, pain, struggle, and triumph. Tragedy is his specialty as something about the struggle from pain to happiness is beautiful. He is rather eccentric and straight-up weird and will become dissatisfied and even detestful if those around him “Refuse to see the beauty in his work”. He appears to see the world as one great story and it’s subtle, but he seems to consider himself something above a simple mortal being.
