+ | The announcement of the animated series was made as a new season of Twin Monsters: Requiem on April 3, 2016, but due to unexpected events, as well as a lawsuit, it did not air. The last aired episode of Twin Monsters: Requiem was edited to have a scene cut short so as to imply a final ending. This anime series is more faithful to the ongoing Wildwood Warriors light novel series than the previous endeavor.

+ | Production on the series began as early as February 2016, pre-production materials released as recently as January 2018 show that the series was initially meant to be a sequel series to Twin Monsters: Requiem. However, the lawsuit between CTGSN (Then known as Super Pokémon Television), Toei and TPCi caused these plans to fall through, heavily cutting and editing the first episode and changing it from a full 24 minute episode to an 11-minute A-story, which required the series to undergo heavy re-tooling, although the series was put in the same universe, references to Twin Monsters and other related series have been excised and censored out of the episodes. some of the characters that first appeared in requiem had their backstories completely changed and only lightly touched upon, due to the 26 episode limit, anything from either Sailor Moon or the Wildwood Warriors Light Novel were kept or changed to their original, non-Twin Monsters interpretation.
+ | |||
+ | There is no Ending animation as the full song "Sailor WAR" is used, and thus the opening and closing credits are used in the opening animation.

+ | |||
+ | Even with all the editing and excising of materials, the series had to be ready to air by February of 2017, although there would be the inevitable result of a missed deadline, which in other productions, often results in an hastily produced and unplanned clip show, however CTGSN had a solution to this, which is to produce a separate series for the purpose of anticipating a missed deadline, the result of this is Tokyoma Gaiden: Jikuu Gami Den which rarely airs episodes, but this series was created as a stopgap measure as well as to buy up to 4 studios extra time to finish their respective episodes. this method has only been used a total of two times, with 8 episodes aired so far. The formula for these episodes is taken from the 1960-1980's version of the British Televison series "Doctor Who" This series is self contained as none of the events from this series affect Tokyoma Gaiden's subsequent episodes, nor do they affect this series' episodes. Currently, there are 32 episodes stockpiled for 8 episode pauses. there have been plans to dub the episodes into English as a separate series and packaging it with this series

+ | == Season 1 == | ||
+ | |||
+ | Season one adapts Volume 8 of the light novel; the first 15 episodes are divided into A stories and B stories. The A stories are adapted from the light novel, while the B stories are re-adaptations of Twin Monsters: Requiem episodes. Only a few episodes have A and B stories connected together. After episode 16, the episodes once again become one 24-minute story.

+ | *This episode was part of three seasonal specials intended to introduce four characters from the light novel into the anime. According to one of CTGSN's press releases, These episodes were intended to test the waters for the characters in the anime. This episode introduces then-Light Novel only characters, Ichiko Konuma (小沼一子), and Mitsuo Hanamoto (花本光男) to the anime's world, including their families whom were as rice farmers that lived in a village which closed itself off from modern Japan.
+ | *Although the anime had been faithful to the Light Novel's backstory for both families, the episode was reviewed overall negatively for its portrayal of Japanese families, with comments ranging from "Is this what CTGSN really believes Japan is like? " and "Borderline Insulting!" to "CTGSN's Portraying these Japanese families like they've been in a cave for the past 200 years.". as a result of the negative reviews for the special, CTGSN and Carisle Animation announced that the characters from the Light Novel and special would be replaced in the anime with original characters of North American/European ancestry.

+ | Season Two has been announced to start after the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics on March 8, 2018, this time in a weekly format reminiscent of its predecessor. This season was considered to have a season long crossover with its sister show but was dropped due to two factors, Priceman Legends had not finished its season three run, as well as the recent decision to formalize a weekly run for season two and its story arc.

The announcement of the animated series was made as a new season of Twin Monsters: Requiem on April 3, 2016, but due to unexpected events, as well as a lawsuit, it did not air. The last aired episode of Twin Monsters: Requiem was edited to have a scene cut short so as to imply a final ending. Pre-Production and Current Production
Production on the series began as early as February 2016, pre-production materials released as recently as January 2018 show that the series was initially meant to be a sequel series to Twin Monsters: Requiem.
There is no Ending animation as the full song "Sailor WAR" is used, and thus the opening and closing credits are used in the opening animation.
Potential Delays And The Solution
Even with all the editing and excising of materials, the series had to be ready to air by February of 2017, although there would be the inevitable result of a missed deadline, which in other productions, often results in an hastily produced and unplanned clip show, however CTGSN had a solution to this, which is to produce a separate series for the purpose of anticipating a missed deadline, the result of this is Tokyoma Gaiden: Jikuu Gami Den which rarely airs episodes, but this series was created as a stopgap measure as well as to buy up to 4 studios extra time to finish their respective episodes. this method has only been used a total of two times, with 8 episodes aired so far.
Season 1
Season one adapts Volume 8 of the light novel; the first 15 episodes are divided into A stories and B stories. The A stories are adapted from the light novel, while the B stories are re-adaptations of Twin Monsters: Requiem episodes. Only a few episodes have A and B stories connected together. After episode 16, the episodes once again become one 24-minute story.

December 31, 2017 |
Episode Trivia: *This episode was heavily rewritten to replace Ichiko and Mitsuo with two Anime-Exclusive characters named "Isabel Kaitlyn" (イザベル・ケイトリン) and "Michael Hartnell" (マイケル・ハートネル) as well as not only introducing them, but also another character intended to be introduced in this special, Nae Chung-Hee (내정희, ナ・チョンヒ), this and the previous special were more well received than the first special for being tame and mostly relying on "Safe Subject Matter" |
Season 2
Season Two has been announced to start after the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics on March 8, 2018, this time in a weekly format reminiscent of its predecessor. This season was considered to have a season long crossover with its sister show but was dropped due to two factors, Priceman Legends had not finished its season three run, as well as the recent decision to formalize a weekly run for season two and its story arc.
