First Appearance

April 7, 2019 (first in-box reveal, has been active for longer)

Griselda is a relatively new character to 1337-A. While she has been active in some form in 1337-A, this page will cover most of her more known activities.

The Zone

When news came forth about the Interstellar Alliance being active in the Zone, Griselda, under her alias of GR, suited up to go lend a hand. Working with the Langister Kits, the Gensokyo Moon-Rabbits, and Megan O`Cain, she discovered that Leona Morimoto, whom was supposed to have died back in the Subnautica Crusade, was somehow alive and well, potentially resurrected.

With Morimoto having been killed (and discovered to be some kind of cybernetic organism), Griselda soon headed back to wherever she called home.

With yet another Zone-related incident, Griselda and her AI-assistant, Nemissa, are back in action. Nemissa found herself working with Burroughs to restore a pair of T-Dolls that had missed the general craziness consuming the rest. With Noel and Elphelt back online, the duo have been lending their assistance in helping bring an end to this madness.

In The Hotel

Griselda made a promise to the recovering Langisters: once they had acquired a clean bill of health, she would reveal her identity to them. This was the day her first appearance was recorded. However, young Victoria Smithson proved apparently jealous in some way.

When news came in about someone giving candy to the Gensokyo residents, which turned them into cloth, she did an analysis on the candy, finding the ingredient that did so. With some direction, she went to retrieve the antidote whilst her brother entered Gensokyo to track the culprit down.

With the antidote retrieved, she is working with her brother to restore the victims whilst finding the perpetrator and taking them out.

On another axis, when several Alliance members were seen causing a scene in Gensokyo, her brother tracked down the one putting out the calls whilst she is checking out the Alliance members.

From time to time, her personal AI assistant, Nemissa, will pop up to hang out with people.

With the incident in the Zone resolved, Noel and Elphelt have elected to room with Griselda, also welcoming in Ramlethal, Elphelt's sister.

The Missing Link

Sometime back in April 2023, Ramlethal found a data file depicting the construction of multiple humanoid combat machines, not unlike the T-Dolls and Kansen. Tracing the file's path lead Griselda to the other side of the Milky Way Galaxy, to a planet that looked to be completely scorched through, with no signs of life.

An underground bunker mid-completion was found, and further investigation proved the existence of multiple tunnels, creating a potential planet-wide network.

The world's former denizens had been under assault by a nigh-endless stream of unknown monsters, ones that seemed to replace their numbers at a rate equal to or surpassing those that fell in battle. To combat this, the world's denizens had constructed powerful combat suits made to enhance the user's abilities, but even these weren't enough.

Eventually, a decision had been made -- for those whose bodies had been mangled beyond repair, the offer was made to transplant their minds into cyborg bodies. While this had allowed for them to begin turning the tide, one of the medical staff had been secretly sending people to undertake the transplant instead of honoring their wishes to pass away peacefully. This, in conjunction with a strong dissonance and disjunction between mind and body began creating internal strife which lead to the collapse of the world's civilization, allowing the endless monster swarm free reign to destroy everything.

However, as part of a last-ditch effort, many of the cyborgs were placed into suspended animation, in the hopes that they would one day reawaken and repair the world.

Griselda's search through the network of bases had revealed a vast number of pods containing the cyborgs, and after a brief confrontation with four that had somehow awakened, she drafted up an annexation of the world and its neighboring planets, to allow for better exploration and understanding. To that end, she personally posed the question of whom would wish to work with her; those whom declined would be passed off to her brother and father to find places that better suited them.

Personality

Though proving to be an open-minded sort and rather friendly, when it comes time to get down to business, her demeanor flips to a no-nonsense attitude. Those used to her more playful side might be surprised when she suddenly shifts gear.

Pocketspace Denizens

Priscilla: A halfling dragon-woman whom Griselda had been talking with at-length for a fair amount of time. Priscilla had isolated herself, citing a cursed bloodline and power that made everyone wary of her. Through several weeks of discussion with her, Griselda managed to convince her to leave the isolated zone and join her -- a fortuitous decision, as not even 10 minutes after departing, the universe that Priscilla called home collapsed upon itself.

Nemissa: An Eighth-generation AI whom works with Griselda on various tasks. Snarky, playful and always willing to lend a hand when necessary.

Noel: A T-Doll whom had been found by Nemissa and Burroughs out in The Zone. She's generally people-shy, but is willing to help when needed. Wields the twin pistols, Arcus Diabolous: Bolverk, and can be seen at times pulling out a Gatling Gun from thin air! Some reports, however, showed her with blue eyes instead of her usual green, and summoning a ton of blades to rip through her foes.... though she has no memory of this ever happening.

Elphelt: A T-Doll found alongside Noel. In contrast to her blonde friend, this pinkette is bubbly and very friendly. Despite her outward appearance, she's packing all sorts of weaponry within her dress-- Pineberry Grenades, a small handgun, Confire Sniper Rifle, Traveler Shotgun, and even a Genoverse Bazooka!

Ramlethal: A T-Doll whom awoke in an underground bunker in Japan. Despite being a sister-unit to Elphelt, the two are quite different, not only in looks but also in demeanor. Ramlethal is generally quiet, preferring to stay by herself if her sister isn't around at all. She uses a gigantic pair of floating blades in combat, able to position them at-will and control them from afar. Outside observers would notice her behavior to be similar to a cat's, and they're not far off with that assessment.

New Arrivals

Rapi: A powerful combat cyborg whom dwelled upon a ruined world. Terse and distant, she generally prefers to focus on the task at hand. In battle she's capable of overclocking her systems for a time to rapidly overwhelm her opposition, though she only uses this ability when absolutely necessary to avoid tearing herself apart.

Anis: Perhaps one of the few people Rapi would consider a friend, where Rapi is cold, distant and only speaks when needed to, Anis proves talkative and oddly playful at times. That said, her personal luck is horrendous, often to the point that random accidents seem to go out of their way to target her.

Marian: A surprisingly warm-hearted woman, Rapi and Anis considered her as the heart of their former squad. During the long siege that ravaged their world, Marian was torn to pieces and would've perished, had it not been for Mary finding her core and taking it with her into stasis. Now with a new lease on life, Marian finds herself quite curious about life on this end of the galaxy.

Mary: A former medical professional, Mary was discovered to have been illegally tampering with documents, sending those whom wished to pass on to undergo cyborg conversion. As punishment, she too was made to undergo the procedure. A possible stasis malfunction with her pod kept her mind active for over 36,000 years, giving her little to do other than dwell on her crimes. After returning Marian's core and allowing her to live, Mary chose to go back into suspended animation.

Harran: This scythe-wielding cyborg boasts an unusual power: to be able to reanimate broken or glitched machinery, which made her a nightmare to combat during the long war. Alongside Snow White, Harran never went into suspended animation, instead walking the broken planet. She does make mention of another like her whom worked as a medic, but shows rather reluctant to actively revive that person.

Snow White: Something of a loner by nature, Snow White was known for going on solo trips that would lasts anywhere from months to years at a time. While not fond of Harran due to conflicting personalities, following the long war she did agree to explore alongside one another for any possible survivors.

Helm: An aspiring Naval Commander during the war, Helm sadly never got a chance to actively command her own vessel, with the two chief factors being the destruction of the world Naval Divisions and the slow, methodical destruction of the world's oceans. Though eager to meet the Sea-Dolls, she is patiently awaiting the revival of her squad mates, Anchor and Mast, so the three of them can finally live out their ambition.

Soda: A bubbly, green-haired cyborg whom also does maid work.... assuming her nigh-crippling clumsiness doesn't somehow make an even bigger mess. Once, Anis blindfolded her to see just how clumsy she could be, only for Soda to somehow complete her assigned tasks flawlessly, stunning all witnesses. Nemissa posits that either Soda's balance servos or optics may need repaired or replaced.

Neve: A member of a unit dedicated to working in the poles of the planet, Neve worked alongside two others in exploring frigid zones for lost people to rescue. Despite this, she proves capable of falling asleep nearly anywhere, and as her favorite polar bear parka would warn, she tends to be a bit of a hugger whenever she's asleep.

Biscuit: If one were to take a look at her and think to themself "She's totally a puppy", then they'd be right. A member of Happy Zoo, Biscuit helped take care of various canines whom were sent to the shelter. She proves capable of talking with and directing dogs in a way that even the best trainers would have trouble doing. She's eagerly awaiting the revival of her fellow co-workers.
