A process by which undesired elements of an individual's past can be utterly erased from the timestream by manipulating their biodata, carefully excising scandalous events from their personal history. Also, physical appearance can be improved via biodata manipulation which is must less physically risky or detectable than plastic surgery. Used extensively by Faction Hollywood's leader Michael Brookhaven to enhance the desirability and influence of selected Hollywood stars- one can usually ferret out users of Identity Surgery by the fact they seem to glide through their entire Hollywood careers with no traces of intrigue or scandal whatsoever.

Identity Surgery can also be used in reverse- see the fall of Michael Jackson or the inexplicable descents of Amanda Bynes, Britney Spears and Miley Cyrus.

Whenever a "name" in Hollywood makes a decision which will condemn them to be know forever as a monster or as a disguised hero, it may be safely assumed they've bargained for private advantages with either Faction Hollywood--or, more likely--one of the major studios that have been officially licensed to carry on their rites and traditions. Like any franchise, Faction Hollywood now supports itself by selling its name and methods to players in the industry.
