Kinko Kohaku was the mother of Aino Ai and the grandmother of Aino Minako.
Born in the 1930s, Kohaku grew up in a small mountain village. A girl full of energy and vigor, she dreamed of being on stage and managed to win a few local competitions. However, on the day that she finally managed to get a professional try out in the cities, she missed the train trying to help out a lost child.
She would meet and marry a young man named Keigo Aino, the two moving to the city of Aisho and she would later give birth to her daughter Ai.
She was very fond of her granddaughter, Minako, who would come to visit her sometimes in the summers.
Kinko Kohaku passed away in 2014
