Aetherium (Concept)

The Aetherium was a vast energy network comprised entirely of what is known as "Aether." During the Silver Millennium, the Aetherium was used as a means to travel from planet to planet utilizing vessels powered by vast sails, with some comparing it almost to a vast ocean in space. It was even theorized that a person could travel themselves using the Aetherium to travel from planet to planet physically, but it would more then likely require some form of outside influence to do so. The Aetherium Network would eventually collapse during The Fall, although some have theorized that tiny remnants of the pathways remain.
