Item World

What is the Item World?
The Item World is precisely as it sounds--- an entire world located within an item. No matter what item it may be--- food, drink, armor or weapon--- it has an associated world located within it. It's been believed that the Item World is more an alternate dimension, given the all-too frequent encounters from other worlds.
The landscape is ever-shifting, so no two trips through will ever be the same.
How do I get there?
Usually, one can ask the Concierge at the RosenQueen Outlet to send one into the Item World. If one is not available, then one can get there via Dimensional Gate, albeit this is a very risky maneuver to pull.
For home usage, there is a machine with the capability to send entire teams into the Item World.
How do I leave?
If you wish to leave the Item World, you have two ways to go--- either reach the 10th floor and take the gate there, or use a Mr. Gency's Exit. (Think about that name for a minute, and you'll see the pun)
Additional Info
Depending on the rarity of the item, the number of floors within an item varies.
Common items have 30 floors to them.
Rare items have 60 floors.
Legendary items have an impressive 100 floors contained within.
Thanks to updates with Item World Technology, when all of the floors in an item are cleared, the item can upgrade in rarity, and the floors traversed will be reset, allowing one to dive back into an item and strengthen it once again.
Hazards within
Despite being within an item, there are multiple hazards to consider when traversing the Item World.
Notorious
The most common hazard are the Notorious, ill-tempered beings that dwell upon each floor of the item. They have but one goal in mind---- to make you very much dead.
The Notorious take form related to the item's world of origin. An item from the Netherworld will most likely have demons of all assortments dwelling within it. Under this provision, one can prepare for enemy encounters.
Geo Effects
Often times, there can be Geo Symbols and Blocks upon colored panels. Depending on the power of the symbol or block in question, the panels upon which they sit can bestow benefits or penalties that range from raising or lowering offensive and defensive powers to healing or harming over time.... to even making certain people outright invincible.
Terrain
Due to the perpetually shifting nature of the Item World, often times the terrain of a given floor can have a mishmash of different terrains---- slippery ice, damaging acid or fire, perilous heights and plummeting depths. Best watch your step, as one wrong turn can lead to your death, and RosenQueen won't be held accountable for your screw up.
Pirates
The greatest plausible evidence of the Item World being a Dimensional Nexus, there are often groups of roving pirates, often revolving around certain themes. While they all have the idea of plundering whatever riches you might've acquired, some often have things you can take advantage of, such as having treasure on board, captured Innocents, or even special equipment.
Item Bosses
Every ten floors within an item, you can come up against one of the Item Bosses.
Floors ending in 0, and not of the listed floors below, have Item Generals, whose defeat will add extra power to the item.
Floors 30, 60 and 90 hold Item Kings. Their defeat adds even greater power, and an extra Innocent Slot.
Floor 100 (only in a Legendary Item) has the Item God. Defeating them will grant even higher power to the item, and depending on the rank of the item in question, they can carry the next tier up of a weapon or armor. Some will even carry rare equipment not normally found elsewhere.
Benefits
So, why would someone comb the depths of their items, if there are such hazards so close to you?
Item Levels
With every floor cleared in the Item World, whether by killing all of the enemy Notorious or reaching the next floor via the Orange Dimensional Gate, the item raises a level, gaining better performance overall. Depending on the quantity of Notorious, Item Bosses and Pirates defeated, extra growth can be expected within the item's performance.
With advancements in Item World Technology, Level Spheres can be found on certain floors--- if lifted or broken before the floor is cleared, extra levels can be added to the item.
There are also Item Fish, which are very skittish creatures. If lifted before the floor is completed, it has the same effect as a Level Sphere. However, they're said to be delicious delicacies, and so the Notorious will hunt them down.
Mystery Rooms
On occasion, whether by a Green Mystery Gate or by random chance between floors, one can find themselves inside a Mystery Room. These can range from salespeople whom will sell you additional items, to a Hospital to heal and revive fallen units, to even more chances to add levels to the item in question.
A particular Bonus Room can contain a Level Sphere, multiple treasure chests, and a wealth of Innocents, detailed below.
Innocents
Not all of the creatures on a floor are hostile---- there exist good-hearted residents, the Innocents, that serve to empower the item, each in their own way.
While Innocents will assist to the best of their capabilities, the Notorious hate them with a passion, and will seek to attack them whenever the chance arises. If beaten by a Notorious, the Innocent will be found on a later floor. By defeating them yourself, they become subdued, and gain an increase to their power overall. From there, they can be moved between items.
However, they can be combined with others of the same type, to further increase their power. If kept within an item when an Item Boss is defeated, a bit of their power can influence the item's growth.
Other info to consider
While the above sounds like a lot to take in, it's only scratching the surface of the Item World's depths. The following information may vary depend on the method used to travel through the Item World.
Innocent Island
After clearing a floor ending in 0, sometimes you can be lead to the Innocent's Island. Here is where the subdued Innocents in an item call home--- it's a non-combat zone to allow travelers to rest up, thanks to the provided medical services. Depending on the method used to travel through the item, one can access the Item Assembly here, to pass a variety of bills that improve the item.
Event Panels
Sometimes in an item, there is a violet-colored structure which is raised high and decorated differently. When enough things are placed upon this structure, whether it be random items or allies or enemies, something will trigger on the floor. Could be treasure, a wild innocent being spawned, or even treasure and Level Spheres.
Reverse Pirating Missions
Are you getting tired of having to deal with Pirates? Ever want to do some Pirating of your own? Well now you can!
For every 20 floors cleared in an item, there comes a chance to perform Reverse Pirating--- you take your own Item World Vessel and go to one of 5 special floors hidden away in the item. Much like the Bonus Room mentioned above, you have a wealth of Innocents, Treasure Chests, and a Level Sphere---- the main difference here is that you get another shot at defeating an Item Boss.
Floors 20 and 40 hold an Item General.
Floor 60 and 80 hold an Item King.
Floor 100 holds the Item God.
Something to consider here, is that you have a time limit to gather as much treasure and as many Innocents as you can, alongside taking down the Item Boss and Notorious. Anyone left behind will be considered Killed in Action, so I hope you have deep pockets to cover medical bills.
