Mahou Sentai Magiranger NEO

Mahou Sentai Magiranger NEO is a Super Sentai from the near distant future. The team (founding members Ozu Kaiko, Ozu Mitsuko, Ozu Taro, Ikari Momo and Ozu Naoki) was formed when the original Magiranger team was kidnapped by the Zyense Syndicate, and their children were given new MagiPhones, called MagiKeitai, by their grandmother, Miyuki.

Their ranks soon increased, with the youngest cousin, Ikari Daiyo, getting a golden MagiKeitai. They were soon joined by a mysterious witch, Reiko; a classmate of Kaiko, Hunter Dean, an exchange student from England whose father had also been abducted by Zyense, and Tsukino Miya, a student and miko employed at the Hikawa Jinja in Azabu-Juuban.

MSMN, or Zyense Syndicate

In 20XX Tokyo, life is normal. The original Magiranger are all married with children, with the exception of Tsubasa, who's now a Heavenly Saint. The kids all go to school, and while they know of magic and their parent's historic battle against Infershia decades ago, they have no intention of ever becoming heroes. When school starts, however, Kai goes missing, with Furu receiving a mysterious text from him. Keeping this news from the children, the old guard decide to send Furu, Makito and Hikaru to look for Kai, with clues given to them by Nai and Mea. But before they can even set out, they're challenged, defeated and kidnapped by a member of the Zyense Syndicate, an invading force from various Galaxies.

Nai and Mea, witnesses to the attack, inform Isamu and Miyuki. While Isamu alerts the Heavenly Saints, Miyuki gathers her grandchildren. Explaining everything, she outfits Naoki, Taro, Mitsuko and Momo with cloaks, MagiPlaid jackets and MagiKeitai, upgraded versions of the MagiPhones. When Momo inquires as to why only four of the seven received the powers, Miyuki mentions that Makou and Daiyo are too young to fight evil. At that, Kaiko yells that she's older than Momo, and yet she doesn't have a MagiKeitai. Miyuki goes on the tell her that she's too rash, irresponsible and thick-headed to go into battle, and would probably only put her cousins in even more danger.

When Houka and Urara are captured trying to protect Momo and Mitsuko, the four new magi transform for the first time, into Mahou Sentai Magiranger. Kaiko, having run off to vent her anger at the soccer pitch, soon saw the lights and explosions of a fight in the distance. Without the protection of magic, she entered the battle to protect her family. This act of courage let her summon the MagiKeitai meant for her, and she joined her cousins in uniform.

With all their magical parents captured, Miyuki brought everyone into their old home, magically expanding the house to make room for everyone. The search for a way to rescue their parents begins, with a few minor side quests along the way. The five magi eventually find themselves in a pinch, and Miyuki is given permission from the Heavenly Saints to give Daiyo, the youngest of the cousins, a MagiKeitai. He rushes into battle to save his family, transforming into Neo MagiGold. Like his father before him, Daiyo excels in technomagic, which helps keep the Zyense goons on their toes. While the initial five were very excited to be joined by the youngest, Kaiko asked why her sister was passed over. Before Miyuki could answer, another emergency arose, and the matter ended up forgotten.

Team Members

King Team

• Ozu Kaiko - Neo MagiRed -- The leader of the King Team, and co-leader of the entire team. Her specialty is fire-based magic and alchemy. She fights with a spear, and can become Neo MagiPhoenix.
• Ozu Mitsuko - Neo MagiYellow -- One of the twins, she's the elder sibling. She has a knack for potions and an elemental affinity with lightning. She uses a bowgun, and can become Neo MagiGaruda.
• Ozu Taro - Neo MagiBlue -- The younger twin, and one of the more sensible of the cousins. He can tell fortunes and scry for whatever the team is looking for. Initially unable to summon a speciallized weapon, Taro would soon figure out how to summon a trident as his weapon, which fits his ability to become Neo MagiMerman.
• Ikari Momo - Neo MagiPink -- Momo is the third-youngest of the cousins, and probably the smartest. She can self-transmogrify, and is elementally connected to wind. Her weapon is a sword, and she turns into Neo MagiFairy.
• Ozu Naoki - Neo MagiGreen -- Naoki is the oldest of the core five, and like his father has quite the green thumb. His herbology skills help in and out of battle, as does his use of the axe. He can turn into Neo MagiTaurus.
• Akio - Neo MagiShine -- Also known by his Saintly moniker, "Uchuugel", Akio is a Saint-in-Training, sent to help the team when their grandparents have to go into hiding. He takes on similar armor to his mentor, and drives a magical bullet train, Traveleo, that can turn into a hybrid-powered Robot.

Knight Team

• Hunter Dean - NeoMagiCrimson -- Leader of the Knight Team, Hunter is an English wizard whose father once studied under Blagel, the Ozu clan patriarch. He was sent to Japan to help his peers, taking on the role of Kaiko's friend and love interest. His weapon is a bastard sword, and he can become Neo MagiDrake.
• Ikari Daiyo - NeoMagiGold -- The youngest of the Ozu cousins, Momo's younger brother is quite the handful. Taking after their father, Daiyo is a technomage and can communicate with most modern technology. He uses a bow, and he can turn into Neo MagiGriffin.
• Tsukino Miya - NeoMagiSilver -- A miko at the temple Momo and Daiyo live by, Miya was found worthy by Lunagel to wield her magic and fight alongside her friends. She uses a scythe as her weapon, and she can turn into Neo MagiGarou.
• Reiko - NeoMagiBlack -- The eldest of the Ozu cousins, Reiko had the distinct 'honor' of being raised by her guardian Saint after her father ascended. She's considered the lone guardian of time magicks, and as such can feel changes in the timelines. She fights using various swords, and she can turn into Neo MagiPixie.
