Rose Marie Boiselle London was born and raised in a small town on Cape Cod in Massachusetts. Her heritage is mostly French Canadian, with some Irish on her mother's side. She lived with her parents, grandmother, and younger brother Andre, and grew up as a tomboy whose independent streak frequently clashed with that of her more traditional parents and grandmother. She considered the proudest achievement of her young life to be the day she beat up the two boys who had beaten up her younger brother, which led her to be expelled from the parochial school she had attended. At public high school, she blossomed and discovered Japanese language and culture, and worked hard to achieve a dream--to go to Japan as an exchange student. While working nights and weekends at a collectible card games shop, she graduated from high school with high honors and ended up chosen to attend her first year of college in the heart of Tokyo. At first, Rose was homesick and nervous, but after being immersed in all aspects of Japanese culture and picking up more and more of the language, she decided to continue her studies, and supported herself by working for Card ParaDice, a small family-owned game shop in a Tokyo shopping district. A few months later, she met Suu who had just started dating Judai Yuki and wanted to learn all about Duel Monsters. Suu in turn introduced to her to Brad London and the rest, as they say, was history. After a long courtship, Brad London proposed to Rose on 10/2/09 and they married on 11/3/10.

Current Events

Rose has left Card ParaDice and has now joined the Pokemon League. While her husband travels for his "work", she follows in his wake and challenges gyms wherever the two of them find themselves.

Rose's Pokemon

There are six Pokemon in Rose's primary battle party:

Lio the Lucario: He was the first of Rose's Pokemon, and was found (as a Riolu) abandoned and badly injured. Rose nursed him back to health and helped to train him, which involved him getting over his crippling fear of water.

Yuzuyu the Eevee: Yuzuyu was hatched from an egg Rose brought back with her from a trip to America. She is very playful and will eat absolutely anything (and everything.) Has a crush on Atticus, the Eevee belonging to Adam Kanal. Currently Rose is researching the process of evolving an Eevee into Sylveon.

Midna the Zoroark: After the Tohoku Earthquake, The Stabateur rescued Midna (as a young Zorua) and a group of other Pokemon from the ravaged Sendai region. She escaped detection by Team Rocket by disguising herself as a Poliwag. Midna is one of the very few Pokemon that have been discovered to speak telepathically.

Raiden the Pichu: Youngest of Rose's Pokemon. He's very timid and prefers riding on Rose's shoulders.

Relationships

She has been married to Brad London since late 2010. She is proud to consider herself one of Suu's mentors, and is a fierce defender of her friends.

Weapons

Rose's weapon of choice is a hot pink crossbow which is decorated in black plastic gem stickers. It was a present from her husband.

Random Personal Trivia

Rose has 2 tattoos: She has a rose on her right breast (she got it when she was 18) and there is a cross with climbing roses wound around it on her ankle (she got it on her first wedding anniversary.) Her beverage of choice is Moxie, and her foods of choice are lobster salad (made with Kewpie mayonnaise!) and her family's pork pie. In the Pokemon League, her (unofficial) title is "The Rose of Cape Cod" in homage to a radio station from her home state. Rose has a rather...distinctive laugh. Keh. Keh. Keh. She has a strong resemblance to Fiolina "Fio" Germi from the Metal Slug series of games. It is rumored that Rose once had a crush on Kaiba Corp. founder and president Seto Kaiba, but if you ask her about it Rose will give you a Glare of Death.
