Background
Former Squad commander of the New York Fighting Troupe, Shinjiro was a little over his head as a 19-year old commanding a troupe of girls, and got too close to many of them, while skillfully (and through dumb luck) keeping them from all finding out. When paternity suits started coming in from others like Yoshino Anri and Diana Caprice, he convinced Gemini Sunrise, his then-fiancee, to get him out of New York, whereupon he vanished from sight.
Discovering him years later, Kujou Subaru finally "married" him, and has used her considerable fortune to keep him alive, but is aggravated as the stories of his philandering come to light.
(Subsequent investigation from Harriet Weinberg at Geminine Sunrise's request found out the marriage license was pushed through on shady grounds, and easily annulled)

After finding out he had had an illegitimate child with Diana Caprice as well, Subaru attached a pain agonizer to his crotch. On September 2nd, 2012, angered with constant reminders of his philandering, she zapped his nethers a few dozen times too many, resulting in the slumbering spirit of Oda Nobunaga within him exploding his old, frail body and renewing it.
Harriet S. Weinberg, Esq. is his illegitimate granddaughter with Sagitta Weinberg.
