Olympus is the mountain home of the Olympian Court. Once the home of the highest of pantheon, and bursting with gods and servants alike, it now houses a much smaller community as Athena slowly builds her new order and Court.

Location

While the actual location of Mount Olympus is hidden, it is in Greece and can only be accessed by those who know how. One must be able to teleport or fly there, but it may or may not actually be attached to the ground and occupies a pocket dimension kind of space.

Structure

Olympus is a sprawling complex of structures, open courts, gardens, land, and villa estates, all of which surrounds the main court of Olympus, formerly the seat of the Olympian Court comprised of the 12 (or 13) main gods. This court is open air, but surrounded with support structures including guest rooms, kitchens, storage, servants quarters, and gardens. Behind sprawl twelve estate lands. At the moment, half of them lay dormant and empty.

Inhabitants

The current inhabitants of Olympus are more varied and higher rank no longer means one will not have to do any work in getting things up and running or maintaining it. There are, however, clear hierarchies, as one might expect for such an institution.

Among the gods and deities which now inhabit Olympus, there are both major and more minor deities. However, members of the original ruling set are still at the top. Athena is now the top of the pantheon, and trying to run things in an orderly and wise manner, not interfering much where she doesn't have to. Therefore, those closest to her hold more sway, but she tries not to let this cloud her judgement.

Gods

Athena, Artemis, Apollo, Hestia, Hephaestus, and Poseidon have all retaken their own estates. As estate holders, they may choose their own servants and make invitations to whoever they please. The more important of the gods outside of the court members are usually invited to stay with on of the members as a matter of course, while more minor ones are usually housed in the guest quarters around the court proper.

Athena's Household

Nike and the three Boeotian muses have quarters in Athena's estates.

Hephaestus' Household

His main villa includes Kore's apartments, while his two cyclops forge-helpers live near the forges. His robots can be found throughout the estate, going about their business.

Familiars

This is an odd group of people and beings who aren't actually servants, but do serve in some way, or are otherwise closely related to the gods, such as Kore and Pegasus. They may come and go as they please, for the most part.

Servants

Servants on Olympus come in several forms. While a lesser deity may always serve a higher one, actual servants are usually wither (a) Humans or (b) robots.

Humans

Humans still living the ancient Greek life in The Hidden Valley may choose to become servants in Olympus, either by calling or for the perks. Since there are so few of them, they have positions very close to the Gods. Ake, for instance, now lives on Olympus and along with chores and running messages, is also training to be a priest.

Other Humans may also choose to serve the gods, especially if one were to save them from something, such as assured death or disease. While there is currently only one known Allelia, there may yet be more to come.

Robots

Hephaestus is well known for building robots and automatons, and since awakening has been building more advanced ones than ever before as he works his way through modern tech. There are various types, and about half a dozen can be found throughout the vast complex at any given time, while a few others serve their purpose in small areas.
