Dante Sparda is this guy. He's got a short temper, two bitchin' sidearms, an angry voice, and he only has eyes for his beloved wife, YingGirl. He used to shoot Yaijinden a lot, but either he or Yaijinden has cooled down, so that's not so much now. He still hunts demons.

History
Early Life
Not much is known about Dante's childhood other then that he is the son of a human woman, Eva, and a demon swordsman, Sparda. He has a twin brother named Vergil, whom after the murder of their mother by demons, parted ways and wouldn't come back into his life for a number of years. Dante has done numerous jobs hunting demons, getting revenge for his mother mother's death, dealing with clones of his dead mother, and coming to odds with his wayward brother, among other things.
Dante has gathered various weapons from these quests, but prefers his custom handguns, Ebony and Ivory, and the sword passed onto him by his father, Rebellion. Because of his heritage, Dante can assume a demonic form he calls a Devil Trigger. This takes Dante's already unnatural abilities to even further limits.
Arrival in SubSen
Dante was originally called by his former student and friend, ?, to help YingGirl deal with issues she was going through at the time. After numerous problems and miss-steps, the two would eventually become close enough to date, and then get married. Dante's mellowed some from his wilder days, but not by much.
The Nero Situation
It's recently come to Dante's attention that a kid has come into possession of his brother's sword, Yamato. On top of that, the kid, named Nero, has a demonic infused right arm, and along with Yamato, can manifest a demon aura that resembles his dead brother's Devil Trigger form. Turns out the kid is actually his late brothers son, making Nero his nephew. The joys of family strike again apparently even in the Sparda clan.
The Current Goings-On
While things have been far from calm, with Alex Mercer and Hitori crashing at the Devil May Cry offices without paying a cent in rent. Dante is being forced to deal with some upstart punk claiming to be "Dante Sparda" as well.
